Summer Infant - Decorative Extra Tall Gate

I like the fact that it has a rounded decorative top. I like the height for keeping my dogs out of the bedroom. As far as keeping a child out..i am not impressed. If the child accidently lifts up on the gate a little bit..they are in where they shouldn't be. Poor latching system and not able to "lock" it in place. Great if you are using it for small pets like yorkies ..Not great if you want to use it for a child.

this gate is very well made and it looks great. I bought the gate to pin in my great dane and it works well. It is strong enough and tall enough to hold him in.

I bought this gate for the 48 inch stair way off of our deck for our 1 yr old grandbaby, 4 yr old son (visual reminder not to go in the yard without permission) and the new 8 week old Alaskan Malamute.

It is not square until the last step of installation and it perfect. It does close behind you and is very sturdy. If I had known about this gate I would have used it for both my 19 yr old and 4 yr old when they were little.

The color is a deep brown and blends beautifully with the deck. My parents/friends are shocked I paid so little for it. It looks very expensive for cheap money and that I love.

I am using it for a dog gate- Wish they made one that would fit a 5' to 6' opening. It has worked out great so far and has keep my puppy out of the rooms we do not allow him into.

We love it. We don't have a baby yet, but we use it for our dog. We use to have to put up two gates (one on top of the other) because our dog would climb over it if we just used one. We have gotten tons of compliments on its decorative design.

I read alot of reviews befor I bought this, some gave me a feeling it may not work great. Still some said it was perfect. When I got it I installed it in less than 10 minutes. It is secure and has kept our Daughter and Rottweiler from getting into our fine china.

I purchased this gate to section off my kitchen and living room, keep my crazy cockerspaniel in and 4 wild kids out. When I first got the gate it seemed bent and the closing latch wasn't square, thought for sure it was broken. On further investigation there was a small piece of cardboard in box stating the gate will not be square till installed. Sure enough when you get in all set up it squares itself. This should have been stated on the paper instructions that come inside the box. The gate is very heavy and sturdy, looks very nice, my cockerspaniel doesn't even try to find a way out, even if she did there's no way. Installation is easy. Safe and effective for kids, the latch is easy for a 6 year old to figure out but not easy enough for a 2yr old. Very good buy for the money and solves your gating problem!!

This gate is what i was expecting it to be, but the height of the gate is only at the door. other than that its ok.
