Too big!

First off these are soft and nicely constructed. However, I agree with a previous review that sizing is terribly off; just within the 6 pairs I got, sizes differed 1" in the waist, terrible! In general these are just too long on my daughter, and she isn't short waisted, but she is slim, so maybe a size smaller would help, but I don't think so. I looked at the description and found a picture that showed that these were supposed to be the lowest rise of this type, but they are anything but that on my daughter. The leg openings are huge and she had to pull these up to her belly button, which is 2" above where these should fit, and even then they don't fit right. The best fitting ones she has outgrown were Hanes low-rise briefs, so I'll try those again I guess. Also, I hated the pattern I got, not as pictured, stripes in varying colors of blue, green, pink, orange and purple, very bright.

My daughter is quite slender and I really thought I had finally found her underwear that would work when I found my first package of these. Boy was I wrong. The two packages I bought from Walmart this time were all marked the same size but while some were the same as what I already had (which is what I wanted) others are 1" - to 1.5" bigger in the waist and fall to her ankles when worn for any amount of time. With items like these, I want them to fit and fit well every time, Hanes needs a serious quality control check.
