I am very satisfied with this purchase. I have a Dell monitor at work, and never had a problem with it. When my old monitor was going out in less than two years, I decided I should get a trusted brand. It took a little while to get used to the wide screen. It was a great value for the price. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a great monitor at a reasonable price. Hopefully the Dell name will last longer than two years.

I decided on the Dell 19" LCD to get out of the caveman days of CRT monitors. I was very pleased with the price of this monitor and the sleek look and small space required of it. The quality is good and the setup was a breeze. While there are better monitors out there, this one was certainly priced right. I would recommend this monitor to anyone who is price conscious and wants a good product.

I did a long research before buying this one.I looked at a lot of reviews and couldn't decide between a samsung or dell,but I noticed that a lot of people had problems with the resolution and the text didn't look clear on many samsung models,plus many complained that they were too bright to the eyes and even if they adjusted them they would still hurt the eyes.Besides,the resolution of these monitors got to be supported by your computer otherwise you would have to update your graphic card.I have a HP Pavillion a1630n and it has an ENVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE so I didn't have to update the graphic card.After I assembled the monitor,I noticed the image was distorted,pictures looked wider,and text was blurry and since I did read a review from someone on Amazon that all you have to do is right click on your desktop and click properties and then settings and then drag the resolution to this monitor's resolution 1440X900 and problem solved. Color accuracy is very important for me since I'm a photographer and have to color correct pictures.I was worried if this monitor would not have the right adjustment on colors,but it does,peace of mind now.All I had to do is click on the front buttons on the monitor and mess with them.Something else that samsung and dell are doing now is giving a 3 year warranty because of past issues with the back light,which is great.I had a samsung monitor syncmaster 710 that died on me after 2 and 1/2 years of service.,and another piece of junk of Hp f1703 that didn't even last a year.Something else: I don't have a DVI conection on my computer and I don't think I need to upgrade to that yet,some people said made no difference having a DVI connection or a VGA (regular) connection.This monitor met my expectations and was $50dls cheaper buying it on walmart than everywhere else,and in case something goes wrong with it I'd still have -90 days to return it to walmart and get a replacement.

I bought this monitor less than a week ago and I really like it. It is lightweight, crisp picture, easy to hook up, uses very little space, no glare and brings images to the screen really fast (the box says 5 milliseconds) I like that it is silver in color with a black base.

This was the best thing I piad for in along time. I wanted a new monitor but did not want to spend over $200 Yes, it runs well with Vista, and looks great! You may have to goto Control Panel\Personalization display settings and set it up for widescreen, nothing to it. Also, when you do windows updates I found that they have updated drivers for this monitor, so it gels well. If you never had a widescreen before, you don't know what you are missing. No longer do I need to side scroll when looking at websites. It's good for productivity, feels like a 2nd monitor at times. Movies look so good when watching them on your computer. Good price, good brand, great monitor.
