These lights are approx. a third more expensive than incandescent bulbs, but last much longer (up to seven years), burn a lot cooler, they give off a nice even beam of light and are very energy efficient. Good for the wallet and good for the enviornment.

As are all CFLs made after 2005, they work well. One thing I have noticed about all of my CFLs (more than one brand) is that they are brighter then claimed. Instead of replacing a 100 watt bulb, these 23-26 watt CFLs are the equvilent of about a 125 watt traditional bulb. The 13-15 watt CFLs made today are equal to about a 75 watt traditional bulb. Those are the only two sizes I have tried.
