I have bought several mattress pads over the years and for the price I am overly shocked about how durable this pad is. As a spinal cord injury, since birth, I have frequent incontinence issues at night. We bought this kind in Sept. 2012 and as of May 20 2013 it's still like new after being washed about every 2 weeks or more. We love it so much because it even keeps my husbands side of the bed dry and we only share a full size bed. I'm ordering a 2nd one for a back-up. My in-laws are using this kind now too. thank you Quiet Comfort Waterproof Mattress Pad for giving us a great product for an even better price.

Soft and quiet and very affordable. Needed a replacement for my 3 children's beds. Elastic is nice and gripping. Haven't washed it yet. Underside seems fragile - will probably wash on gentle cycle.

I bought this item for my daughter's bed. It is horrible!! From the very first time she had an accident, it soaked right through to the mattress as if nothing were even there. Each and every time, it leaks through, to the point I'm afraid the bed is almost ruined. The thing is, several years ago we purchased 2 of this same pad and they worked fine, lasted for several years after repeated washings. The pad was cheaper then and worked great. Now, the price is higher and the product is junk. Save yourself the time and money and go for a different mattress pad.

I bought 2 queen size "Quiet Comfort Waterproof Mattress Pads" and I just love them! They are just what I was hoping for and the deep pockets fit my mattresses to a tea, and the padding is thick for extra comfort. I know you won't be disappointed.

These waterproof mattress pads do what they're supposed to do and they hold up well in the washer and dryer. My toddler has 'tested' them several times and his mattress has remained dry. The pads do need to be run through the spin cycle twice when washing due to the waterproof lining but I've washed and dried them many times and they still look new. No pilling or "crumpling" of the lining like other pads I've tried.

Its nicer than I expected. I didnt buy it so much for being waterproof, just as some added protection for the mattress. All in all Im very pleased with it. It looks nice, fits well and should do what I want, and it IS quiet!

This product launders nicely but when I put it on the bed the minute we crawled in it started moving around. The sides slide up and and come un-tucked which in turn brings the sheets with it. I will be returning it this weekend.

I bought this to protect our mattress from pet accidents. I am pleased with that aspect. So I am happy overall. It is a bit snug fitting the top of the mat barely making to the corners, but it does, so that will serve.
This is a better cover than many out there. So, I plan on keeping it. Thanks.

Cover fits nicely on the 6" coil bed frame. Has deep pockets so it won't come of the corners. Top has a small amount of padding that gives it a soft feel under the sheets. Overall a good buy.

Didn't Even Make It Onto The Bed!

I ordered 2 of these in queen size for our two beds. They looked good online and have great reviews. I was at work and my wife went and picked them up. She text me later telling me the first one had ripped while putting it on the bed. The stretchy side material ripped in the corner and it just pulled and turned into a longggggg rip and kept going. Absolutely unusable. We never even opened the second one and just returned them both. very disappointed.
Now we have mattress covers already and have had them for years that get taken on & off frequently for washing so we (she) knows what she is doing. I even asked her if she had maybe punctured/tore it with a jagged fingernail or something. She said no it just ripped.
Just a heads up for everyone. Maybe it was just a defective one. We just got others from Amazon.

Wow. I had to double check my order to make sure I got the right pad. I bought this because of the terrific reviews here but seriously? This is NOT a silent pad. Granted, it's quieter than some out there. But silent? No.
I've been buying waterproof pads for 9 years for a bedwetting child, so I've bought my share of waterproof mattress covers and pads. There are pads out there that are absolutely undetectable from non-waterproof pads. They don't crinkle at all. In fact, the last I bought was from Wal-Mart! I came back to get another and I can't find it.
We first bought the Sealy version and it sounded like a plastic bag underneath. Very disappointing. In fact, all of the options at our local store were crinkly sounding. That's why I came online, studied the options and got excited about this one. I'm so disappointed that a pad can advertise itself as "Quiet Comfort" and yet still crinkle, even just a little bit. I guess I got spoiled by SILENT pads because this one is too loud. Ugh. Waste of my time.
Lesson learned - if you want a truly silent pad, only buy it in person. Unzip the bag a little, crinkle it in your hand and trust what you hear. It does not get quieter when it's stretched out on the bed, washed up, etc. I'm not done with Wal-Mart, but I'm done with Wal-Mart's waterproof pad options. Very disappointing!
