Nice little tricycle, 10/07/2009
By Sugrtoz, Texas
Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

We bought this tricycle for our nearly 2-year-old daughter. The long handle in the back is very helpful for us since she hasn't quite figured out how to pedal and steer. The handle is easy to attach and detach. The seat is also easy to adjust up and down. The tricycle is good quality steel, nicely painted, and sturdy. Highly recommended.

Great Deal, 10/03/2009

We love it. My 2yr old is small for his age and if we put the seat all the way down he can reach the pedals. Make sure you have the proper tools to put it together. The handle bars were hard to make tight with the make shift tools we used. It's a great trike for the price.

Good when you get all the bolts tightened, 09/11/2009
By lpcmama
Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 4 out of 5

It came in only a few pieces, wasn't too hard to put together. Took 30 min. However, the picture directions did not tell me if it was a wrench or pliers. So, I used pliers and could not get the bolts tight enough. Had to take it to a male friend who used several wrenches to tighten all the bolts. Now, it works perfectly. My 1 year old son loves it, though it'll be a few months before he can pedal it.

I read other reviews before I purchased this trike. My daughter is 23 mos, and immediately knew what to do, although she's just a smidgin too short. By her birthday, she'll be perfect. It's durable and stable, which is very important, and the handle easily comes off if you need it off for your kid to get on and off the bike.

Review 8 for Radio Flyer Classic Red 10" Tricycle with Push Handle

wonderful gift, 08/14/2009

We purchased this for our granddaughter. It was nice to have it shipped directly to WalMart. The Radio Flyer Trike was easy to assemble, and as soon as we were done she climbed right with no problem. The extension handle is nice for when she needs a little help. We will order this for the next grandkid as well. I also enjoyed the fact that the classic red trike was the same as when I rode one.

Review 9 for Radio Flyer Classic Red 10" Tricycle with Push Handle

Excellent Product, 08/07/2009
By JL2006, Aston, Pa
Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

I had looked at many bikes. Many had accessories like canopy's, plastic wheels, bells etc.. other bikes had pedles that didn't move while the parent pushed if the childs feet were resting on the bike pedles. I wanted my son to learn how to pedle a bike on his own and how was he going to learn that concept if the pedles didn't move when his feet were resting on it. I read other reviews of this product and it came highly recomended. My son is 2 1/2 and only 35" and less than 30lbs and after two days on this bike, he learned how to pedle on his own with an occasional push on a hill. The handle to push the bike with is ok, it isn't super strong, but it will do and I don't think you will need it long. My child already knew how to work the handle bars as we owned a ride on four wheeler designed for his age group. I can see this as being a problem for a parent trying to push the bike when a child is learning to stear, but I don't think it will take long for any child to learn on this bike. I highly recommend this bike. I didn't have any problems with turning or tipping with this bike, but I know others have mentioned they had this problem when there child was just getting the hang of the handle bars. I love, love, love this bike and so does my little guy. I got the 10" bike and I have it in the lowest position and my son reaches the pedles just fine the bike also has rubber tires not plastic. The metal does squeek a little, but nothing a little WD40 wouldn't fix. I hope this review helps someone else, it did me and I am quite happy with it and I would recomend this to bike to my friends and I will buy the next size up when it comes time and besides that, the price was right.

Review 10 for Radio Flyer Classic Red 10" Tricycle with Push Handle

Good product!, 07/20/2009
By an anonymous customer
Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

We were pleasantly surprised with this tricycle. It has a 'retro' appearance that reminded me of the tricycle of my youth. We purchased it for our granddaughter's second birthday. We love the handle for pushing her. It is SO much easier in teaching her to ride than it was for our children. No need to bend over and grasp the handle bars to get her going. It's a perfect size for a small child. It has a sturdy construction that I'm sure will last for years.

great tricycle, 06/21/2009

Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

This is a great product. I bought this for my son's 2nd birthday and it is just the right size. He is almost 3 feet tall. I bought the bigger 12 in tricycle first and after reading reviews decided to get the smaller one. I went to a hardware store in our city that had them on display to see which fit him better and I was glad I did. It is hard to find places that have them on display but if your child is around 3 feet tall this is the right tricycle for you. He can just reach the pedals so he will have a lot of room to grow into it. The handle is also great.

Review 15 for Radio Flyer Classic Red 10" Tricycle with Push Handle

just the right size, 06/19/2009
By GrowingFam, Rome, Ga
Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 4 out of 5

I chose the 10 inch model over the 12 inch model b/c my 3 year old is small. This trike was just the right size for him (33 inches tall) as he needs the seat all the way down and will have plenty of room to grow into it. My only concern is that it seems to tip over easily if he tries to turn too hard when he's not peddalling. I love the parent push handle- great asset when learing to ride and steer for himself.

good trike for the money, 05/27/2009
By momtonorah, Coatesville, PA

We got this for our 2 year old. She can just reach the pedals and likes to sit and be pushed for now. She gets frustrated that she can't make it go the way she wants but that is a developmental issue. It is great, inside or out. She wants to ride it all the time and that says a lot for a 2 year old.

This is an outstanding product - well made, sturdy, and just the right size for our petite 2-year-old. It arrived very quickly and her dad put it together in a few minutes. She's already learning to coordinate pedalling and steering - no small feat for a tyke.

Adoreable Trike, 05/08/2009

We gave this to my son for his second birthday. He loves it! It went together easily, looks very retro and cool and he is toodling around everywhere on it! He is slightly -- but only slightly -- taller than normal two year old and it fits him in lowest seat setting.

We did have to double tighten the handlebars so they didn't shift...but it is a great bike...and good value!

disappointed, 05/06/2009
By momseekingvalueandquality
Overall Rating: 1 out of 5 1 out of 5

The tricycle is very light and easily tilts over. The handle is poorly made and does not allow the parent to have control of the steering. Left my son very frustrated as he does not know how to steer and I could not steer for him. The only positive thing was that the bike was nice looking in appearance.
