So far, I love my new computer. The only problems I am having (which are minor) is because of the OS, Windows Vista. Nothing that can't be worked out.

I have this computer for a month and don't have any mayor complain. It's fast have enogh space for everything. I don't like the speakers, not a good sound. But overall is a very good product for the price.

Awesome computer for the price. You have everything you need to get started. You will need to get a graphics card for gaming. And a sound card if plan to play today's advanced games. I put a nvidia geforce 8500gt graphics card in and it is awesome. For sound I went with a creative sound blaster fatal1ty platinum. I also upgraded my ram to 4gb pc-6400 800mhz memory.
Also I recommend upgrading the power supply to an earthwatts 430, since it only comes with a 300 watt power supply. All that will run you about $350, if you know where to shop. And you do not have to do any overclocking. Everything operates amazing.

Our computer had "died" and I was searching for a replacement right before Christmas. I had seen an advertisement for this computer in an email suggesting that our local Walmart "may" have them in stock. Hoping to find one in stock that could be set up quickly I went to my local Walmart and did not find the item on the shelves. Nobody was around to ask, so I gave up and went home to call the store the next morning. After I found out they did not have any, I gave up and placed the order on line, knowing it would be at least a week before we'd be back in business. The very next morning my computer was delivered! Even though my email confirmation (which I read after receiving the computer) said it would be delivered the next week! Set up was a breeze, and we are very happy with our purchase!

I purchased this Dell Inspiron for a family pc and network hub center. So far I am very impressed with it's speed and storage space. We have all our photos and itunes libraries on it and it doesn't slow it down at all. I have heard lots of negative comments about Windows Vista, but personally I like it. I also like the 19" widescreen monitor and the very affordable price. With the constant advances in technology today why would anybody pay thousands of dollars for something that will be obsolete in a couple of years. Wal-mart also did a great job of getting this system delivered to my door before the Christmas holiday.
Thank you Dell and Wal-mart, you make a great team.

Wonderful machine! We unpacked and plugged it in and it works beautifully. It is sooo quiet when we first turned it on we thought it was broken because we could not hear anything from it. Our printer and some software we like is a few years old and we were concerned if Vista was compatible but to our amazement it loaded everything no problem and even searched for updated software by itself. Great product that we would highly recommend.

I received this pc as a Christmas gift. Great pc for the money, my only complaint is the video. The colors seem to be too bright. I have tried adjusting them with no luck. I think it is the internal video.
Anyway great value for the money from a trusted company.

The Dell computer arrived in only 4 days to my local Walmart - much sooner than expected. It was so easy to set up. Everything was already installed. We just had to plug it in. So far a wonderful computer. We are completely satisfied!

This desktop PC will meet my needs quite nicely. The response time is very fast and I really like the 19 inch flat panel monitor. It replaces my 5-year old Dell Demension, which was a very dependable machine. I am not into games, so there is no need for me to spend additional money on a more powerful unit. I like the option of being able to buy a Dell from Wal-Mart, but it would be helpful to future buyers if Wal-Mart included more details on the PC's it sells. For example, how many USB ports, extra bays, etc. As it turned out, there are 8 USB ports (very good) and 1 extra port (fine for me).

Dollar for Dollar, the best value for your money. You cant get this good of deal purchasing direct from Dell (I Tried). Dual Processor, Large Hard Drive, Ample RAM, Nice 19" Wide Screen Display, 13 in 1 Media Reader and Speakers. I have bought nothing but Dell since Dell began selling PC's. They are simply the best PC manufacturer out there. Im glad that Dell is allowing others to sell their product. Its a win win for everyone involved.

Usually I'll buy a bare bones computer and just build it myself, but this was too good of a deal to pass up. Even the people in line at the store when I bought it were jealous because they had gone to Dell direct and had waited 2 weeks for theirs and paid more.
Seriously, this is a great deal and a great computer. Get a 2nd monitor and a video card for an even better experience.

I just purchased this computer this morning and actually got it for 598. I waited in line for it and let me tell you. IT WAS WORTH it. Just a few hours of browsing and you def. see how fast and efficent it is. A perfect computer for a college student like myself, or even a great family computer. Also note that the burner is very fast and burns wonderful cds. If you chose any computer chose a dell, it's well worth it.
