I love the Eureka Quick-up Bagless Hand Vac with Motorized brush. It also has the hose to get in corners great for my steps. This is the 3rd hand vac I have tried and its the best for the price. I will surely buy another one when this one messes up.

This does have great suction. The only negative is it IS a bit heavy and it would be nice to have a longer hose.

So far I am very pleased with this purchase. I love that it isn't battery operated so you are not limited to 15 minutes old use before recharging is necessary. It is light weight, and the cord is a good length. I could not be happier!

A "MUST HAVE" for Stairs

I am a professional cleaner, and I purchased this powerful little hand vacuum for the carpeted stairs that I must keep clean. I had been using a cordless vac for my stairways, and I thought that it did a satisfactory job, but when I used the Eureka Hand Vac on the same stairs - boy was I surprised at how much dirt it had picked up! The vac has a powerful suction, the brush roll is just fantastic on the stairs, and I really like the attached hose which is used for edging tight places. This vac has a nice 20' cord and gives me plenty of room to do my areas. Overall, this is a very well made - powerful - little hand vac. I would recommend this vac to a good friend; it was money well spent.

Bad design re. hose adaptor

Following Eureka's! directions, I pulled hose from hose adaptor and attached crevice tool to clean a chair. When I attempted to replace the hose in the hose adaptor I was unable to do so because the housing is so close to the machine head that you cannot fit the hose end over the mouth. Unless the hose is replaced into the machine, the machine is rendered useless for regular vacuum work. I used this thing for less than 15 minutes. $45 is a lot to pay for an appliance that lasts only 15 minutes. Bekow the comment area on this survey is a section that asks how often you use the appliance. the least frequent responses on the drop down menu are "once a year" and and "Never" and I responded, Never" because I can never use it again.

This product exceeded my expectations! Works great for cat hair on the furniture and has plenty of power to get the job done. Very pleased with all its features. The best hand vacuum I have owned and works much better than the old Dirt Devel I was using. The only downsides are that it is pretty heavy and loud...but it works so I can deal with those issues.

Worth the money for a quick pick me up and cleaner

I tried this first as hand held to clean the carpeting on my boat. I bought it first from another store, and loved the fact that you can take the hose out and as it is light you can use the hose and small nozzle to just about pick up anything.
The negative is you have to be careful when using the buttons that you don't accidentally open the canister which I did and du,ped all the dust on the floor. Bad move! Only did that once.
Since then I have bought two more of them. Cord is long and it lets you really get around. Except for the canister part for opening if not careful, I highly recommend this over a product like the DustBuster which I own and never use.

I purchased the Eureka hand vac to vacuum my furniture,as I do not have a large vacuum. It has good suction and did a wonderful job on a chair that had not been touched in 4 years. It is a bit heavy for me but then I am in the my 80th decade. Hose could be a bit longer as well as the crevice tool.

I've had this vacuum for about 2 weeks and have used it several times, mostly on carpeted stairs. The "Riser Visor" feature is really unique and it makes the vacuum easier to maneuver. The suction is strong for a small handheld and the crevice tool works great. The option to shut the roller brush off is a nice feature when using this on thinner mats, like in the kitchen. The only negative I would point out is that it is a little heavier than other handheld vacuums and it gets to be tiresome if using it for an extended period. Otherwise, well worth the money

Bought a shark awhile ago and when it died a few months after purchase, I decided to try the Eureka. This vacuum is great!!! Picks up dog and cat hair with ease. Economical. And most importantly, has a detachment that lets me get into those crevices on the carpeted stairs. Cleanup is easy, just push a button. It does not have a HEPA filter if you have allergies. But it does get all my dust and hair out of the carpet, so I love it!

The vacuum was purchased for stairs and it does a good job, much easier than wrangling the upright. A little heavier than expected but manageable. Good suction and the riser visor is convenient. Cord is long enough to do all 18 stairs. Very satisfied.

I was looking for a hand held vacuum to do our carpeted steps. Some vacuums have the rotary brush that rotates due to the air pulled by the vacuum and I have found all of those to be worthless. This one has a separate motorized brush. It works great and is not that heavy. The 20ft cord is also a plus. Again the motorized brush is what led me to give this hand held vacuum a chance. I've only used it twice so far but I am pleased with it.
