I've never written a review for anything, but these cabinets are beautifully simple and rustic looking and for the price...!!! They fit the the two spaces that I had for china hutches. The assembly was a little time consuming but they are nice and sturdy. I couldn't be happier!

MY HUSBAND AND I WERE ABLE TO BUILD EACH WITH EASE. MAKE SURE TO LOOK OVER WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE BEGINNING. THE HIDDEN CAMS HAVE AN ARROW THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO PAY ATTENTION TO DURING PLACEMENT IN THE CABINETS. WE PURCHASED THE BUNDLE OF 3 AND DECIDED TO BUILD ONE A DAY WHICH IS A GREAT NON STRESS IDEA. WE HAVE RECEIVED MANY COMPLIMENTS ON THE PRODUCTS.

Its sturdy, nice looking and functional. It does not look like a true antique, but at this price I wouldn't expect it to. I use it as a liquor cabinet. It had a lot of pieces to put together so it took some time but if you follow the direction it is simple. I like that you can set the doors to swing right or left when they open. I called the number on the instruction they were super helpful and friendly. Definitely worth the money! I would buy it again.

I think for the price this is a decent item. Relatively simple to assemble and the parts seem typical of this price point. Kinda like the swedish company that does the same. HOWEVER, I think this item needs a couple modifications to improve it . One, the width of the shelves is really way too narrow.. needs to be widened a few inches..Depth is a bit short as well. You may need to remove a door in order to get larger components in the shelves BUT the hinges are pretty big so you might have to juggle the components between shelves with and without a hinge close by. Two, needs better lateral support.. all it has is this very thin cardboardish back panel that you must nail completely to make sure the unit does not rack left to right. I think you will need to add some sort of flat strapping to keep it from racking left and right. If it does move, you end out putting the doors out of whack as well... Three, adjustable feet even two would be good.. right now they proclaim they have solid feet at the front but those are pretty small pieces and have zero height adjustments so once you put components in , if the floor is uneven which is quite common, it will tend to rock and over time this will put the unit out of alignment.
Be aware this product is essentially MDF covered with a paper or foil cover NOT REAL WOOD although the shelves are particle board but the structure is MDF with paper over it . It is very very easy to remove that paper covering or scratch it so get that black/brown marker handy.
Overall... not bad but needs someone to redesign it for realistically sized components. Maybe ok for very tiny display items but really a storage cabinet . This quality and price is typical of today's medium term use furniture. This is no heir loom that is for sure but should serve you for many years.

Really disappointed for a product from Sauder. Some of the materials were really cheap for the price paid for this product. It should be priced from $79 to $99. Doors are hard to level up. Also reccomend two people to assemble product.

This cabinet looks great once assembled and in place. Will it be a collectible antique someday? No, of course not, but it looks really nice and it is quite heavy. It was easy to put together, all of the parts and holes lined up perfectly. The doors can be hung to open to either side based on preference, so that was a nice surprise. The only improvement I would suggest is to make the cutouts in the back larger so that it is easier to connect stereo components together with each other. Leaving the back off altogether to make this easier really is not a good idea, as the instructions say, the back really does help stabilize the cabinet when it is standing upright. Fortunately, there is enough give in the back that I can run those cords on the inside of the cabinet and behind the shelves. Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend it to anyone that wants a nice looking piece for a reasonable price and isn't expecting it to become a family heirloom!

We were blown away by the quality of this all American made cabinet. It was fun to put together and the instructions where all in English . There were no missing parts and it went together like a charm. It took my husband and me about one hour to put the second one together about an hour and a half for the first one. And the price is just unbelievably affordable, even for us retired people
on fixed incomes. It is sturdy and beautiful and just the way it was packed was awesome. We could not believe how they could deliver such a wonderful piece of furniture and so well packaged for that price. Thank you Wal-Mart. It is nice to get something not made in China and with english instructions.

I have been a fan of Sauder for a long time and it just keep getting better. Their directions are the best - so easy to understand and follow. This piece is very solid, attractive, and very functional. I love the smaller width but it was still big enough to accomodate my laser printer. Couldn't be happier, unless I had two (which I intend to have shortly!)

Compared to Sauder products purchased in the past, this one appears nice, but it is very poor quality, instructions are terrible, it scratches very easily and it not very sturdy. If I hadn't already put it together I would buy something better.

This cabinet is made in America! The instructions were clear altho one has to pay attention to details shown on the diagrams. All of the parts fitted together precisely. A real pleasure to assemble compared to other kits. All the hardware and parts were there. Can't think of any drawbacks. Took about an hour to assemble carefully. Very sturdy.

Very disappointed in this piece of furniture. The top was scratched and scuffed. The antique "finish" was basically wood grain printed paper glued to particle board. When assembled the door had a gap and did not hang correctly. Will be returning this product.

I bought 2 and only need one. So easy to put together and went up fast. Also have the TV stand next to it. I was so surprised with the quality and size. I use mine to hold keep sakes behind glass. The one for tv holds all the equipment and this one holds things that should be seen and not touched. I used my own knobs that matched the end table drawers. A good solid piece of furniture that is well made. Dosen't take up a lot of space. Has the option to put glass doors on to open in left or right direction. Solid, does not move or shake when jostled back and forth.
