I bought this night light for my 4 year old daughter who is having "fear of the dark issues". It is great because it casts a nice glow on the room. It came with a bulb that was just too bright and my daughter had trouble falling asleep. I switched the bulb to a regular night light bulb and now it is just the right amount of light.

word of warning: it is made of a paper like material and will puncture easily so place it on a higher surface that your younger children cannot reach.

This lamp looks great. It is a soft light - not too bright, and perfect for our daughter's nursery. It's super-cute and we are very happy with it. Can't beat the price.
