Still thinking on it!

Putting it together was easy. (My hubby did it) \But using it is a little harder than I had wanted! I gives you a work out for sure, but being manual is the challenge that I am working on now... Hopefully I will master it soon.

Not a bad investment, though there are a couple of things I don't care for. The first is that even the lowest incline setting is too steep. A flatter option would be nice. Second is, the little bottle of oil they gave to lubricate the tread needs to be about a 1/2 gallon jug. Other than that we've all been using the treadmill in our family and though it is tough to start the motion of it, once you get going it works pretty well. We don't have the room or the money for one of the bigger motorized treadmills. This one works fine for a short walk along with a work out. It was only $100+/- if I recall and it is compact for storing when necessary.

I love this treadmill I use it everyday for 25 min. Its a very good work out. the only thing is when I got it the display board was broken from transporting, that sucks! but I do have a watch to time myself. I will have to send the display in to have it replaced. Other then that its a great work out.

The Treadmill was easily assembled. It folds for storage. I use it daily and would recommend it to anyone wanting a modestly priced effective treadmill.

Took only 2 hours to put this together and that was pretty much taking my time. Have not used it yet other than to try it out. Seem to work very well. This is the first time I have had a treadmill, think I will enjoy it. Need the work out but no time to go to a gym etc. Besides this is cheaper. I think it is a good price especially for a first time buyer of excerise equipment. I also think it is good to be manual, better for working youself.

I should have listened to my husband and get a motorized treadmill. This one was not, and I thought I would be able to make it work. Wrong. Despite oiling it, the belt would stick and come to a dead stop and it took alot of effort to get it going again. And the battery operated display. Never worked. Just blinked on and off. The belt is off kilter at the bottom and not in alignment, so it doesn't flow freely. I should have gotten the motorized Weslo, which was only a little bit more money.

I haven't owned this treadmill but for a few weeks, and for the few times I tried it, I got a real workout. The incline was steeper than I expected for level 1, and because it's a manual treadmill, you have to push back with your feet as you walk to keep the belt moving. This way you work harder, as if going uphill. I find this product a great value for the money and would recommend it to anyone who wants to boost their cardio workout!

I read all the reviews on this product. Ordered one anyway. What a waste of my time and money! It is going back to the store.
We put it together got on it and it would just stop right in the middle of the walking on it. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS product to anyone!

I didn't have much money to spend on a unit, so I decided to go w/ the manual. I am extremely happy with it. Another reason I chose the manual was because I have 2 boys 3 & 5 and was concerned about the safety of having a powered one. It has proved to be very safe around the boys. Assembly was no problem at all. Great workout..I had to adjust the tension and get the oil smoothed out real good to get it just right. I am also able to jog on it which was a plus. Extremely pleased with the purchase & would recommend!

I used Site to Store shipping, and this product arrived quickly. It was easy to assemble. Despite being manual, the belt runs smoothly. The incline forces you to work harder than on flat ground so it can't help but give you a workout. For the money, it is a great fitness tool.

I was disappointed when I put the treadmill together because 2 pieces were missing. However, I contacted the manufacturer and they sent the missing pieces out and I had them within a week. The treadmill was a little more difficult to use than I thought it would be but it gives a good workout once I establish my stride and rythym. It is certainly going to work for my purpose which is to train for a hike that 620ft up at a 45 degree angle the whole way.

It was fairly easy to put together if you take your time. I needed an extra hand for one part of it. It's sturdy and I definitely get a work out. It is a lot harder to use then electric treadmill so be prepared. After 15 mins on this manual treadmill I'm ready to go outside and walk around the block which is easier.

I recieved my treadmill Site to Store (which is awesome) yesterday, and my husband and I set it up last night. It was an easy set-up...but some of the oil had spilled out of its tube. Nothing major. And the console didn't work, so I called this morning and they are just sending us another one. We don't have to send the bad one back or anything. I used it this morning and I really like it. It does make a whining sound, but, again, nothing major. I'm just going to try and grease it up some more. I'd say, if you have the money, go for electric, but this is definitely great for your wallet and does the trick, plus it's environmentally friendly =)

Review 198 for Weslo Cardiostride Plus Manual Treadmill

pros -does not use electricity -folds up -relatively easy to move -manufacturer was helpful (the console came broken, so they are shipping me a new one for free)
cons -hard to maintain consistent speed -makes a whiny high pitched noise (can be drowned out by a loud tv, though) -when holding onto the handles, i have a slight tendency to hold myself up (less workload on lower body) -i could see a taller person having trouble with the short deck (i don't, i'm only 5'2")
all in all, value for price is good, but this is far from a fancy treadmill you would find in a gym.

You Get What You Pay For Sometimes

I hated this machine. After waiting about 10 days for this product to arrive and about 6-7 hours of putting it together, the machine was terrible. The machine did not move smoothly when I tried to walk on it. It took a lot of intial force to get it started. It almost seemed as if I should have been running for this machine to work. I did return this item back to my local WalMart. I will definitely have to apply the money towards an eletric treadmill instead.
Sometimes, you really do get what you pay for. However, quality in this case outweighs price.

Review 200 for Weslo Cardiostride Plus Manual Treadmill
Sorry I purchased

This treadmill is not worth the money. The wires to the monitor were broken and the holes did not match up on the right side. Called the company and they sent a new monitor, have not seen the right side as of yet. Even without all of the problems the quality on this treadmill is poor. The incline is too high, not to mention the belt will not slide without a great deal of effort on my part, no matter how much I oil it. People in the reviews say its great they have to work so hard because it gives them a better workout, but for me it will be a deterent to working out at all. It is also not light. I think the ad said about 60lbs. try +100 with no rollers. Not easy to move around. Its too heavy to pack back to the store so I guess I am stuck with it. My advice to you, spend a little more money and get a better treadmill.
