IM HAPPY THAT I MADE THIS PURCHASE. IVE BEEN USING THIS TREADMILL 5 DAYS A WK FOR THE PAST 4 WKS. IT WAS EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND I AGREE THAT YOU DO NEED A SECOND PAIR OF HANDS TO PUT IT TOGETHER. IT DID TAKE ABOUT AN HR WITH THE 2 OF US. ITS KINDA NOISY ESPECIALLY WITH THE FAN BUT WITH MY IPOD ON IT DOESNT BOTHER ME. I THINK THEPRICE WAS GOOD FOR THIS EQUIPMENT.

Bought May 21 of this year...5 months old. Took excellent care of it. Wouldn't start this morning....fan was only thing humming. After spending time looking over manual with no luck, called 800 number - ICON Health & Fitness. Rep said "console was gone"...any extended service plan she asks...?? No, not available in FL I told her. Well, too bad...it will cost you $200. but that includes shipping!! And it's simple to install. Guess we should have been more observant when we bought it that parts and labor only 90 days. So be forewarned....if you live in FL don't buy a treadmill unless it has good warranty. Piece of junk.

I purchased the Gold 450 treadmill in nov. 2008, used it everyday of the week. i am glad that I bought the extended warranty, because it stopped working three weeks ago, but they did refund me the price of the treadmill. I will be purchasing another treadmill.

Honestly I had doubts when I placed the order because it was just too cheap - $380. I mean I had purchased a similar treadmill in the past and paid way more than $1000. Guess what. This is just as good, if not better, as the old one. Plus Walmart's site to store service really comes in handy and saves a lot of $$$. I've been using it almost everyday and couldn't be happier.

Bought tredmill about 2 months ago, I love it! After lots of online shopping and instore shopping I decided to go with this one. More then happy that I did. Easy to use, great programs,hubby put together by himself, folds up. The fan is good for someone my height 5'2 my hubby though says it hits his chest more then his face. The only thing I would have like to see would be a bottle holder for my water. Besides that I LOVE IT!!!

I purchased this treadmill in a local store on clearance. A little hesitant at first getting a treadmill from Wal-Mart, but I couldn't pass it up for the price. Assembled in about an hour, with no problems until attaching the ground screw for the actual display. As noted in other reviews, I had to drill this hole slightly larger than what was there, because you are forced to finger tighten the screw due to limited space. Worked great from day one. The fan and functions are nice for a treadmill at this price level. I would recommend.

An excellent product. Easy to assemble and works perfectly. It has preprogrammed exercise routines, but I don't use them. I dial in my speed and incline settings, change them as I see fit and enjoy the exercise.
A friend tried the unit and went and bought one for himself. He bought it thru the site-to-store program and it arrived in a few days. I helped assemble it and it worked perfectly also.
It has a two speed fan in the console, but it is not effective. It is way too small. I use a 16 inch three speed fan placed about 10 feet away to keep cool during exercise.
I reccommend this unit to anyone looking for a first class treamill at reasonable cost.

It was easy to put together. It ends up a little bigger than I expected. I had the take the diplay board, and arm rest back off to get it through to door. It works great and has minimal noise. I haven't quiet figured out all the bells and whistles yet, but am having fun playing!

I purchased this treadmill six months ago. So far the motor has went bad and the console. I had to fight with the company just to get them to stand behind there warranty. Now the console display has went bad. It cost $165 to replace, since that part of the warranty has conveniently ran out. Who wants to spend close to $400 and then $165 six months later. Do not buy this machine, the customer service is terrible and it just doesn't last like it should. I regret buying it every day!!

Incline & heart rate don't work,

We purchased this treadmill back in January of this year and there are weeks when I use it more than a couple of times per week and there are times when I may not use it at all for a whole week, long story short, the incline is stuck at 10 for at least the past 4 months, the heart rate monitor is never right. We tried trouble shooting and it's just not working. As a beginner, it's hard to jog for longer than 5-10 minutes when the incline is at it's max. Not sure what to do next, but we're very upset that it has already given us problems.

site to home between shipping sales tax cost 200 more then bought direct from store. belt is jerky an drags unless ur under 100 lbs belt is just all around sluggish i would not recommend unless ur willing 2 shell out hard earned money 2 set an look at it.

I purchased the Gold's Gym 450 treadmill a couple months ago and I absolutely LOVE it! It's a great steal only costing $400. The only problem is the LCD display light doesn't work, whick I read in other reviews, but besides that it's perfect. Another thing, for those that are looking to have it delivered, think twice. The delivery company Walmart uses only requires "Curbside Delivery". For $50 that's not cool at all, I had to beg the delivery guy to bring it in. I hope this was helpful, have a good one!
