I bought this to work out on my days off when at home and away from the gym. It gets the job done. When you put it together the directions are a little off. My two year old daughter could have written them better. Also make sure you oil the weight slide very well. I'm 6'1" and some of the motions are a little short because of my height, but like I said it still gets the job done. I would buy it again. Skip the extended warranty its built pretty well.

A challenge to put together but worth it!

My son an I have been working out on this piece of equipment once a week, for a little over a year now, and suprisingly we have really made some progress. My son is 15 and has significantly increased his muscle mass and I have gained some muscle myself. It doesn't take up a lot of space and is versitile enough to train a number of muscle groups. Ok you have to have some patience and closely follow the assemply instructions, but after that you get a good value for your money.

Took about 4 hours to assemble. Had to redo 1 or 2 steps but assembly not too difficult. Using ratchets will save a lot of time. Good value. Recommended.

This product is wonderful. Simple to put together if you take your time. I put it together by myself, took a few breaks along the way and it took about 7 1/2 hrs minus breaks. I am a very impatient person when it comes to putting things together. I was not overwhelmed by the directions and just took it one step at a time. Just a neat little piece of equipment that doesn't take a lot of space and if you have a low ceiling in the room that you are putting the equipment in (6 ft 3 in tall) that works too! I love my small complete little universal gym! Thank you Gold's Gym for making it affordable and user friendly.
