I love this little device and the price was not bad when compared to alternatives. I dropped an 8 GB micro SD in it and dropped some of my favorite SciFi episodes on it. Works great.
My small and insignificant complaints would only be that it needs better battery management. There is no jump to the next song feature such as >| . Doesn't see SD card as part of normal lists under all of the headings like MUSIC & VIDEO. Again these are small and do not matter. I love it regardless.

Very good product, like everything about it. Wish it would come with an armband holder, they are hard to find at a reasonable price. Also the earphones are not very desirable, but do the job. Overall, good quality product. Very happy with purchase.

Its pretty sweet. ive used it almost everyday since i got it and havent had any real problems. Converting the movie over to display properly took some time but ive never done it before and it was pretty easy. The movie i did watch on there was on a very long car ride and it worked like a charm, but it isnt ideal for a group movie time lol. I really have no need to view pictures on the go thats why they made digital cameras, however, i did load a couple photos on there and they look amazing. The screen gets smudged up easily but i found a really nice clear plastic case that helps a lot with protecting it and keeping the device clean. The music player itself has a lot of options and works like a charm. i highly recomend this creative zen product

I LOVE this mp3 player. When I first got it, I was kinda kicking myself for copping out on the traditional, ever-so-popular I-pod (for the price), but when I saw I could get a 4gig Zen for nearly 70 bucks cheaper than a 4gig I-pod, I had to try...
I've had only a few problems with my Zen. I think there was a period of a few days where it kept messing up and dying on me or something...and I would have to constantly reset it and "format" it. A couple of those times, it wiped all my songs off and I was a bit peeved. But after I learned what to select on the reconfiguring screen (I wish I could help ya there, but I can't remember which it is...I think you want to just "clean", not format??) I haven't had that problem since.
It's battery life is excellent. I find that when I leave it hooked up to my comp for awhile, putting new songs on, it usually charges it up just fine and I can listen for quite awhile.
If you're looking to watch videos on your Zen, I don't know how it can help you there. I-tunes videos will not play on it and seemingly can't be converted correctly to do so. I've tried using the video converter that comes with the Creative software but to no avail. If you're looking for your standard music player, this is for you.
You can also put a memory card in it for extra storage. I have yet to use this feature, because I haven't needed it and haven't taken the time to figure out how to put MUSIC on a memory card, but I like to pop my camera memory cards in occasionally and use it to look at the pictures, since it has great color. You can also use pics from your computer when it's hooked up, OR from the memory card, as backgrounds.
It has all sorts of cool little features, some that I use more than others. Voice recorder, task manager....etc. A lot of things the I-pod has but bigger and more awesome.
The U-S-B cord that comes with it to connect to your computer is stupid. That would prob. be my least favorite thing about it. It's only maybe 1-2 inches long and is generally annoying to use because of its size. I would recommend getting a longer cord to use instead.
I can't think of much else to say...but just know that I've had it for nearly a year (come October) and couldn't be happier! I recommend it! :)
P.S. W's profanity detector said I had profanity in my review so I had to change things to "I-pod" and "I-tunes" and "U-S-B", so I know those aren't how you really "spell" them...

I bought this MP3 player so I could have something very versatile. Which it is. It is extremely nice to be able to add storage with the SD slot. The only thing I have come across is that it freezes from time to time. I did figure out that if you pause your music (must leave in the music player setting) and then turn off the player, it will not freeze. Not sure why there is a problem, but this solution seems to work for the moment.

Hi. um im guessing you want to know about Creative Zen thing.it frezzes alot. and it easily breaks i only had mine for a little while...but i bought it bk because i had a lot of other problems with it too. if you are really into music and you want it for everyday use i would never reccomend this product....

I have had this player for about a year and have not had any probs with it. it does have a few thing that could make it better but for the price u cant complain too much. converting the file can be a bit time consuming but is not hard to do. sd slot is a nice feature but u cant load to player. a coworker just dropped a cyl. head on it and it did not survive . I will buy creative again but one with more gigs.

I just recently purchased this one. I love it vry much. the screen lcd is solid glass vry beautiful collor display, amazing mp3 of all, i hav always love creative products, they are reliable. you can browse pictures while youre listening to ur audio books of just listening to music. card slot is good. looks so classy and elegant mp3 out there., stero speaker, the headset is best enough for you actually, bcoz too loud or bassy especially in ear plug is so bad for your health , ur ear, ull get deaf soon, so turn down the volume and just enjoy soft equalizer music or speaker or headset,...a must buy mp3.

i really like this mp3 player, comes with 4gb, i have 400 songs already on it and still have about 2gb of memory left. it has a sd memory card slot for more memory (im gonna buy one soon). size of a credit card, i just bought 4 days ago and think it gonna last me for a while.

I bought this player for a Father's Day gift. I opened the package before I gave it to my husband to download the driver. Worked great. Put some pictures of our children and a few songs on it. When he opened it, he loved it. When he put more songs on it. It froze up. It says you can put itunes songs on it. However, you have to put them on one at a time. You just can't make a file and transfer. That will take forever. Well, we returned it. I like the fact that it has the SD slot, but that is no good if it is going to freeze up. Not even the reset button worked. I hope if you buy this product your works. Jb

I bought my zen about a year ago and as of recently have become confused and frusterated with my product. In the beginning it was an amazing player and synced very easily, etc. However, about a month ago, whenever i plugged it into my computer it does not sync or even send the signals that it is even attatched. Other than that one issue, it is an amazing product but is a bit over priced.

Compact player with big time mojo! Bought this one after my MP3 player died. If you want a straight music player this is the one. Holds alot of music, you can add storage if you need to, and even though some reviews state it doesn't have a random play option, it does!!! You may want to play with it a bit to get used to all the things it can do, but you won't be disappointed. My only complaint is that you have to charge it at least once a week. Maybe that's only me because I use it so much! Overall a very good buy!!!
