recieved yesterday, nice instructions-easy to put together in about 1hr. great size and nice look.ran heater last night temps were in the 40's and it kept living room very comfortable. very nice price for what you get, THANKS

My ONLY complaint is that I wish this fireplace was a little wider (from front to back). If it sits out away from the wall very much, you can see the lights flickering against the wall. Overall, it's gorgeous, puts out a good amount of heat for our living room and the coziness of it is amazing!

Great piece! I'm in love with the look and works great! I do wish the fan didn't run constantly as its kinda noisy, but you get use to it. Glad we bought two and would definitely buy more on sale!

I have enjoyed this fireplace very much. It heats very good and takes bout an hour to put together. I will say that the directions are a little tricky but not hard to figure out.

A NICE LITTLE FIREPLACE FOR THE MONEY

overall I like this fireplace, the two things I would mention are first of all the fake fire display rolls up and spreads wider as it gets toward the top of the display. You can adjust the brightness of the light behind the display so you can find a sweet spot and make the display acceptable. The second thing is that the light from the fire display leaks through the fireplace box in several places so you see the bright light from the bulb at the bottom where the heat comes out as well as a couple other places. other than that I am very pleased with this fireplace. We are doing our bedroom over on a budget which is mainly why I chose this unit and my purpose for buying a fireplace was for the aesthetic features. I am going to put in the corner of a bedroom and I am staining my new base cabinets to match the fireplace so it ought to look really nice when it's done.

I purchased this product with a bit of trepidation mainly due to the low cost. I priced other fire places and couldn't believe that this fire place could match the others I had seen in quality but I was willing to give it a try for that price. I was not disappointed, however, there was one defect. After reading all the reviews I thought that assembly would be problem but it wasn't. The unit was put together in less than an hour with no help. Pieces were clearly marked, color coded and showed which side was up or down. It is heavy and that was expected as this is made of particle board but it feels very solid. Back to the defect. The flame motor was defective in that it would barely rotate the "flames". One call to the service department and the part arrived very quickly. The process of replacing it was not that easy. It required taking the cover off the lower portion, tracing wires, cutting/stripping the wires, using wire nuts to reconnect (wire nuts not included) and putting it back together. It was not easy but it was not rocket science either. Also, other reviewers have commented on the blower fan being noisy but I could barely hear it. Having said all of the above, I would still recommend purchasing this product. I saw similar products for hundreds of dollars more and except for the lack of remote control, I did not see much difference.

I live in a compact apartment and wanted the ambiance of a fireplace. This unit is perfect! It's a nice height and I used the corner piece. I'm running the heater with the front door open to burn off the new smell. Overall, great unit. Heater fan is quieter than I thought, flame is adjustable and can be on without the heater. I can put my flat screen on top of the unit to save space. It only cost an extra $5.00 to have it delivered to my home and I live on the second floor. Well worth it. It took two of us to assemble but once you get going it makes sense. It's a nice solid little unit.

We purchased ours in 2007 and we use it all the time in winter. We use it to take chill out of the air. Also it helps keep our gas bill down:). After 6 years of heavy use the heater and lights have just now stopped working and i would really like to find a replacement insert if I can if not we will buy another.

This fireplace is wonderful, just what I was looking for. The wood looks much better in person than in the pictures. It is very important to be organized when putting this unit together. Expect a lot of pieces. Read the instructions first, lay everything out. My biggest problem was that I put the plastic connectors on up side down at first. Remember the KD screws must go into the recessed holes of the plastic connectors. Just think ahead (read ahead) the direction that they need to be going. Match the red to the red and the black to the black, have patience and you will end up with a beautiful piece of furniture that is very useful. I really enjoy the fire going without the heat needing to be on. My land lady wants one and my boss is thinking about if for their dining area.

I bought this and put it together in about an hour the instructions are really fuzzy and you need to look ahead in a few spots and the instructions arent very specific. It doesn't seem to be warming much of anything up its been running for 6 hours and i cant notice any difference.

Way beyond what I expected. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. In fact after seeing this fireplace both my Son and Daughter wanted one for themselves, so I purchased 2 more! It's gorgeous, functional, and fairly easy to put together. The picture absolutely does no justice to what this electric fireplace actually looks like. I love it! It warms my entire downstairs area nicely. and looks beautiful while doing it. I don't have one negative thing to say about this product. I definitely recommend it!
