This chair was chosen mainly for price, and to go with an eclectic "shabby chic" style. The seat is much deeper than it looks on the picture, it seems overall to be shorter and rounder. Do not expect this to really look like leather, it looks more like suede or just plain microfiber. I think the nail head trim is great, and I love that the cover can be kept in the zip compartment built into the bottom where the legs were stored.
I am very happy with the size and quality of this chair for the price.

Ive been looking at this chair for MONTHS (at least 6 months) and I do not buy furniture online unless I can see it in person at a store. But after reading the reviews and seeing the 5-Star rating the chair received, I decided to purchase 2 of these chairs. My husband picked them up at the local Walmart store and called me to ask what kind of chairs they wer because they were so light. That scared me. When he got them home and set them up (very little set up), they exceeded our expectations. Beautiful and as pictured. The brass heads are actually brass colored and not gold colored as it looks in the picture but still beautiful. The color is chocolate brown. They are NOT heavy. Easy to move and slide around. Great detailing even on the legs and worth the money!! It looks as if its worth at least twice as much. This is my first furniture purchase and online and also at Walmart. I feel taken advantage of for having spect sooo much money over the years on furniture and not shopping w/ Walmart first but I will continue to shop for furniture w/ Walmart if they continue to offer such great products as these and only if they offer great prices!! I compare prices w/ a million sites before I make a purchase so this was my pick and I have no regrets. I wish they offered a nailhead sofa (not a sectional as they offered in the Barringto nSectional before) but a three seater pull out nail head sofa. (I hope Walmart and the manufacturer are paying attention.) THANK YOU SOO MUCH. Finally, I there's somone out there who understands that I work hard for my money and will give me greta quality products at a great price!

The chair was easy to assemble, looks really good in my den/kitchen area and is very comfy. The only problem I had was that I ordered two chairs, we picked both up and got them home (in identical boxes) but when we opened them, one chair was the Barrington chair the other was a bonded leather club chair. I had to take the wrong chair back to Wal-Mart and reorder an additional Barrington Chair, which took about 10 more days. I am very happy with the chairs and may get a couple more.

I bought three of these chairs for a conversation group in my professional office. They are just perfect. They are very nice looking and match my Southwestern decor beautifully. They are comfortable, but firm enough in the seat so that people don't get "stuck" in them and can't get back out of them. I bought a square pillow to put in the back and oblong pillows to put on the sides, for smaller people, but pull the pillows out and they will hold a larger person nicely. They make my office welcoming and comfortable. An excellent value.

Great chair ..we picked up two and then bought the matching sectional.. only down side is if you have a pet with hair ..do not buy this .. it is the most comfortable fabric yet so full of static.. every puppy hair sticks to it .. other than that it looks great and we've had lots of compliments on it.

This is a very classic design club chair. Finish is distressed leather look, with real brass nail heads. Looks like a much more expensive chair. Seating is very firm, but may break-in after some sitting. Overall very happy with it.

I bought a pair of these chairs after reading the great reviews. The chair is comfortable! I put both of them in my library and they fit perfectly. The brass nails look authentic and the fabric looks like great chap leather but feels so soft to the touch--like suede! The fact that the there is a zipped cubbyhole underneath the chair that legs come secured inside acts as a storage place for the protective cloth cover the chair is shipped in is an added bonus!

If you are even considering this chair, buy it. I looked everywhere for affordable accent chairs. I tried some from Pier One but when I saw the reviews for this chair, I had to try it. I am so thrilled. They look amazing -- like Restoration Hardware. They are comfy, elegant, relatively inexpensive, and so worth it. I swear my living room now looks like a page from Pottery Barn but on a budget. I'm so glad I purchased 2 of these chairs. No regrets. And so far no stains or damage of any kind. They do look good with a throw pillow.

We were looking for a couple of reasonably priced chairs to create a seating arrangement in our family room. Based on the strong recommendations for this product, I decided to order one to see if it would meet our needs.
Both my wife and I were very disappointed with the appearance of the actual item upon its receipt. It looks as if it belongs in an old Spanish mission -- all it needs is a thick layer of dust and a cobweb or two. I suppose that if your decor is shabby chic, it might fit your bill. But for the rest of you ... beware.
Please note that I am not commenting on the quality of the item, just its appearance. But again, its appearance is such that we will promptly be returning it.

I bought 2 of these chairs to go with a gold chenile couch. i was very pleased with the dark brown color and also pleased with its size. For the price i was afraid that it might be small and out of proportion with my other furniture but it is a nice size.
A footstool in the same pattern would be a nice addition.

The Barrington Chair -accented with the right pillow to offset that bulbous back- can be your great design find. The nailheads are tastefully proportionate to the chair's dimensions, pre-antiqued and look classic and timeless. Not Fake or Tacky Looking, which I had feared before it got here! These are REAL antiqued brass nailheads, not the fake beaded nail trim. They're in there nice and tight, too!
Perfect for that Library/Study/Gentleman's Retreat look. I'm back for a second one to make a pair. Wanted to try one to begin with. This chair has presence without being bulky. After all, bulky roll arms are sooooo last year!
Tactile and Ergonomically-sound. The bi-cast leather feels very good to the touch. Looks like Old Chap Leather, feels like New Suede! The nails don't hurt my forearms when I lean on it's arms. Kudos to it's designer for that!!!
Only criticism would be that the back shape be squared, instead of round and bucket-ed! This would give it a wider appeal and fit more people's tastes/design aesthetic. I took care of this minor challenge with a 20X20 Square Silk Pillow that mirror my couch Colors and did the ole Envelope Chop on it. Looks fabulous, now. It's High-End-Looking, Layered, and Inviting. Blended with my Thomasville couch effortlessly.
People who visit my home often make a Bee-line to the chair to touch it. They can't help it. It's a very inviting chair. Gotten great comments about it. I totally lie and tell them it's a custom piece! No one questions it, because it looks the part! Thank God it can't be seen in any of the stores! LOL
DELIVERY - 4 day turnaround. Alright, though the chair had to be removed from the box outside to get it through the door. The box they pack it in is huge. The finish on the removeable wooden legs came with some scratches but Wal-Mart Cust Service took care of the problem immediately. Happy with the Experience overall.
I would definitely recommend this chair.

I received my chair yesterday it was just wonderful
it really looks like leather. For the price it was a GREAT buy I am so pleased with my purchase.
The only thing I noticed was that the brass nail were darker than the picture. I just cant say enough. It is well worth the money. A great Chair
