With all the thermostats out there this one is a little big. Had no problems with it. Has a light on it in case your cooking at night. I use it camping. I would recommend it.

I previously purchased and returned a competitor fork thermometer and was disappointed with its slow response and that it had to be washed very carefully. Other opinions raved about this Taylor Weekend Warrior. They were right. It's totally waterproof and it registers meat temperature in just a few seconds. It works and the price is right.
