Canopy Anywhere Console Table, Mahogany Finish

I looked for awhile before buying this item, but I couldn't find another piece of furniture that was this great for this price. I was surprised that the product was 97% solid wood vs. thin flimsy boards. Buy this product you will not be disappointed. Also you have the option of taking out the drawers and having open shelves.

I am so happy to have taken the plunge and made this purchase because this is a quality piece of furniture and I love it. It is indeed made of solid wood with dovetail joints in its drawers, and the back of the unit is certainly nice enough to be exposed (no cardboard or particle board here!).

Having two people to assemble this console is a must, because the pieces are quite heavy and it would be a tricky issue to line up all brackets with only one set of hands. Getting the brackets to line up and lock properly was actually more difficult than I expected it to be, but it was certainly still doable. I used the tapping block a lot to get things just right and tight. Dowloading the assembly instructions from walmart.com is a MUST, because they are indeed different from those included in the box and will shorten how long it takes to get it put together and preserve your sanity. I had no stain pen in my box, either, but customer service was polite and prompt in shipping out a replacement.

This console is beautiful and functional, and we are using it as a buffet in our dining room. Try it -- you won't be sorry!

We bought this thinking it would be the usual cheap piece of er um. It was VERY well made. Went together fairly easily. Gave options of knobs and gave the option of either drawers or self storing shelves.

Frankly it was better quality then the stuff we've been looking at in the furniture stores.

WELL worth the money and looks great. Everyone who comes over comments on it and asks where we got it, often referencing the more expensive furniture store.

Excellent product! Using as an entertainment stand for a 27" flatscreen tv, looks wonderful. Definitely has a high-end look, without the price. Very easy to switch drawers to shelves and vice versa. LOTS of storage. As other reviewers have said: item is VERY VERY heavy, get some help! Also, does have a strong varnish smell when you open it, lingered for about 3 days. Is definitely Mahogany in color, not black. Easy assembly, did it myself in about 2 hours, would be much quicker with a second person. Assembles with interlocking hinges, make sure you pay attention to the directions (which are very easy), it is hard to get the piece to come off the hinges if it is facing the wrong way!

So far I have bought the Canopy Desk and the Canopy Anywhere Console Table. I love them both. They are stylish, durable and worth every penny.

I love this product. I only wish there were holes cut out behind the shelves for wires. Otherwise it's extremely beautiful and definitely a high quality product.

I wanted to wait several months before posting my review about this multi-function piece of furniture. I purchased this piece of furniture back in February 2009, to set up in my 7yr-old twins (boys) room for their 42 lcd TV and video games and other items. I knew if this piece of furniture could pass the twins test, it was a great piece of furniture. It has been over 6months and you would not believe how beautiful this piece of furniture looks and the storage it offers is wonderful. Please believe me when I say it is not easy to assemble, especially not alone, as I had to complete. If you do purchase this piece of furniture I advise you to order it and have it sent to your Wal-mart location it is free and they will assemble it free. Before I purchased this multi-function furniture, I researched some of the top of the line department and furniture stores and no one had anything close to this for the price or the quality. It is worth the money and we all know with Wal-Mart if you are not satisfied, you can return it to any store even if you ordered it online. No one can beat Wal-Mart true saving and now I am a furniture lover.

I love this table! Could not be happier with my purchase! Great hidden storage for lots of things. Took my husband about an hour and a half to put together - would have been faster if one of the pieces wasn't crooked but overall you can't tell. Mt only wish was that the drawers were on slides they can be hard to pull out if you have a lot of stuff in them. But it looks WAY more expensive and really classes up our little house! Perfect piece for any living room or dining room!

I purchased two canopy end tables, the dresser and this buffet/entertainment center. Overall solid product, finished well. All of the pieces were packaged well and came in good condition, except for one pannel on the night stand (which had a chip). The product is mainly all wood, Top, front, doors and drawers. However the sides and trim, the piece that was chipped on mine, is a compressed board (There is a reason its not $700 or $800). Overall its a solid product that is a great value for what you pay. It looks great and its height works great for a TV stand in a room with high ceilings. Would definately reccomend.
