Canopy Anywhere Console Table, Mahogany Finish

Don't be alarmed just yet. I love this piece. What you are reading from others about great quality, value and appearance are all true. I titled this "Sticking Drawers" to get your attention if you had or have this problem as I did because I figured out the quick fix.

The three drawers are all very heavy in construction and will last for years on end, however I filled them with heavy CD's & desk stuff which made pulling out and pushing in the drawers was very hard.

The possible Fix:
Inside the drawer cabinet there are some sort of rubber strips or guides to assist with the drawer sliding in and out. There are no metal sliders.
After much deliberation I pulled the rubber strips off and tapped down the little tack nails with a hammer. Then bee's waxed the bottom of the drawer glides and the now stripped area where I pulled off the rubber. Now my drawers slide in and out with ease.
I was afraid to apply a little WD40 oil to the rubber strips for fear of oil soaking the actual drawer's bottom. Others, I see, have tried that as well, and that also seemed to do the trick!

So far, so good. It was a pain to put together, but looks great now that it's done. Drawers are hard to open since they're not on rollers. I guess it has to be that way since they can be converted to shelves as well. Shipping took FOREVER!!! And that was by far the worst part about this purchase. It took almost a month to get to our store and we're not in the middle of nowhere. We're in Columbus, Ohio.

I am very happy with the finished product. It was difficult to assemble. Needed 3 people to put together, the wood was warped and need a person to help push it flat while the other two but locks in place.

A wonderful piece of furniture for the value. Very easy to put together and the quality is that of furniture store not put togther. I currently have this piece in my kitchen. Am considering buying another to use in the family room. Great buy!

It was easy to pick up from the Site-to-Store area, and although it was heavy, it was easy to transport and well packaged. Definitely will need a truck or SUV to haul it home! It was very well designed and, I love the way it looks with my dining room table! Its more of a cherry color than may look in the picture, which was perfect for me. Very pleased!!! Will definitely consider purchasing through site-to-store again!

This is a good value for the money. It is tough to put together, so would advise not to do it alone. The pieces are heavy and tough to balance alone. It is exactly what I expected for what I was paying, and serves the purpose intended.

The console is beautiful and I love the versatility of being able to alter the drawer portions for more specific uses. I'm using it as a tv console, so the top drawer is removed for housing my DVR and DVD player. The mahogany is a deep, rich color.

This console is amazing. I was a little skeptical, but once we opened the package and saw that ALL pieces (even the back piece) is solid wood, I was very happy.

The only thing that I wish was different is the drawers do not "glide". You have to pull them and there is a slight drag. Hope that makes sense.

The finish is beautiful, the knobs (I used the sliver ones) are very classy looking. You would never be able to tell the difference between our Pottery Barn desk and hutch which sits right across the room from this console.

For the price you simply cannot beat this deal. I am thinking about getting more pieces. I am sold on the Canopy product line.
