I took into consideration all the reviews on this and I'm so glad I ordered. I had purchased another TV stand from Target and it was too small due to confusing online ordering info about TV size! Cost more too! Ended up lugging it back to store and wasn't about to buy another one anywhere without scutinizing it. I read All the feedback on this item from Walmart and decided to have it shipped to my house. It was worth the 30.00 extra if you ask me. My husband and I put it together within a hour and had one little fixable problem yet no scratches or damage at all. Everybody loved the little extra's that came with it like 2 different sets of knobs (I chose silver)and touch up pen. Like what others are saying, this is a beautiful stand that appears to be more expensive than it was and fits my 46" flat screen just fine. Love the cabinets for video's and DVD's too. Clean lines, rich looking color plus functionality make this fit into many decors. I'm thrilled with it for the price!

I love this TV stand, it actually looks like it came from an expensive furniture store. It was very easy to put together and although it says it only fits TV's up to 46" (I think...) ours is a 50" plasma and it fits just fine. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a TV stand, it's great! The only problem we had was the shelves that go inside the cabinets would not fit, I think they were made a little too large for the space, my husband said he could cut them to fit, but we just went without them. For the price and overall quality of the stand, it's still worth it.

I purchased this item in the store after researching online and reading the reviews. This tv stand is solid, looks expensive, and was extremely easy to assemble. The only tool needed was a rubber mallet. I have a small car (2 door hatchback) and the box fit with the seats down. It is a heavy box though, around 90 lbs., but Walmart associates loaded it for me. The price can't be beat, mine was advertised at $249 but rang up at $214 so I saved even more. Don't waste your money at a furniture store, this product is a great deal.

My husband and I have a 46'' TV and this stand is perfect. We bought the other matching end tables and coffee table and it completes the room. It's really beautiful furniture for the price. We've searched all over high end furniture stores for something that I liked but seriously, these 4 canopy furniture items made our family room better than I could imagine...especially for the price. Took my husband and I awhile to assemble everything but nothing we couldn't handle.

This TV stand definitely looks better than I even expected. People have been admiring it and can't believe it came from Walmart. Lots of good space and the wood is beautiful, especially the top panel. Only had it for like a week but it looks like it would hold up to some wear and tear. I love this TV stand -- it looks MUCH more expensive than it is, and fits in perfectly with the rest of my Crate and Barrel furnishings. The only negative was that a piece was broken in shipping and it took me a week to get a new piece from the manufacturer -- it was easy to order, but was inconvenient as I was expecting company before it arrived. Overall, I'd purchase again!

This was by far the easiest thing i've bought and put together. Its not particle board either! It took me maybe 30 minutes to put this together by myself and I was going slow. The wood is lightweight and sturdy. Even comes with a touch up marker for scratches.

This cabinet was very easy to put together. Fits on an angle in the corner. My 37" TV fits just right. The finish is smooth. The color is a nice dark brown, it goes with other peices that I have painted dark brown. My VCR/DVD combo fits perfectly on one shelf and my DVR/cable box fits on the other shelf.

Had no trouble at all with assembly. Very fast and easy. When putting the TV on the top it put a huge gouge in the top surface. It says it's durable valspar finish, NOT durable at all, however, all I had to do was go to the website on the instructions and typed in the part number and when it was purchased, it asked for my address and what piece I needed and left room for comments. In the comments I put I need more wooden dowels just in case they broke or got stuck in the old top, 5 days later UPS dropped off a brand new Top for my TV stand with a small bag of dowels inside. Perfect, easy, quick, no trouble at all! Product looks great, just be careful not to scratch it!

I was looking for months for the perfect TV stand that fit my budget and expectations. This Canopy TV stand has fulfilled my need. You cannot beat the price on this ready to assemble furniture! I also bought two of the end tables, and plan on ordering the bed. Yes, that is how satisfied I am with Canopy's product line.
The quality is excellent for what this is - ready to assemble furniture! Most RTA stuff is MDF, composite material, and/or cardbord. This Canopy line is solid wood, with wood veneer (which is what you also get at the high end furniture stores now-a-days too for the most part).
One person can assemble this, but two will save your sanity. I found that it was much easier to align the pieces by laying them on the floor and sliding the brackets into the slots versus trying to balance one side while it was standing upright.
As the instructions say, all you need is a hammer. I added wood glue to all the dowel holes for just that extra bit of security. I would also throw in a dose of patience. The end result is worth it.
This TV stand is sturdy and doesn't wobble or sag. It fits my 17" DVR box perfectly in the shelf below the TV. I do not think this stand is designed to hold the weight of a tube TV, so I would not recommend purchasing it for that. I have a small flat panel (32") and it looks great sitting on top of this unit. It doesn't look too small or too big in scale.
The mahagony finish is beautiful. I did not experience the fumes or smells that others have experienced with the stain. Quite frankly, when I saw that it had a Valspar finish, that was the final sale for me. I am a huge fan of Valspar paint and products. I must say that you can see the quality in the finish.
All in all, if you can't tell from all of my gushing, I am very satisfied with my purchase of this product and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nicely made, budget friendly, great looking TV stand. Thanks fo reading!
