Not worth the money, not practical

It didn't work for my baby as an infant (7lbs). That net was pointless. There is a plastic divider sticking out and it wall fall right in the upper back of my baby, when he was on that net. It doesn't work now when he's 4 months old. It's a bad design. It's also big: wide but not deep.

HATE THIS TUB!!!

I had originally bought this tub, used it two times and hated it!!! Worst product!! The actual tub that my preemie newborn had to lay on was so hard. I found it very difficult having to hold his head and wash him at the same time. The mesh part that he would lay on is horrible also. There is a big plastic thing under it and if you lay the baby on it... then they have the plastic bar in their back. Was not able to return this product, because I lost the receipt so I donated it. Hopefully someone else will like it.

Too shallow

This bathtub is way to shallow. I bought it for my boy but was so disappointed with it. Before we used other model of Fisher-Price but we have moved out of the country and we bought this one instead. After using it twice we returned it. Baby was getting cold very fast because only his bottom was immersed in water, I mean slightly immersed (even though we poor as much water as it could fit). Legs, arms, chest out of water. He didn't have any pleasure of the bath. No splashing... However, i do recommend the other blue or pink Fisher-Price bath tub. Way much better.

Roomy baby bathtub. Better for use in the bathtub or counter than in the sink. Perfect for baby's first bathtub!

Love this tub. Hammock keeps infant out of the water when the cord isn't allowed to get wet. Then they sit perfectly on the incline until they can sit unsupported in the larger section facing the incline. You do have to wash the netting, why wouldn't you anyways?

The day after bathing our son, I noticed an odor coming from the foam in the headrest. No matter what I do, short of drying the headrest in the dryer after every bath, the odor comes back. The foam sours and fills the entire bathroom with the odor. Also, there is a "neck rest" molded in the plastic for the 2nd stage of bathing. It is awkwardly placed and doesn't raise the head out of the water enough. Last, the tub does not drain unless you have the feet propped up on something. The opening is closed by the big bath tub. Not a great buy.

Bad Design

Normally I don't write many reviews but this bathtub deserves a review because it is terrible and maybe I can save someone from wasting their money. I got it as a gift and I returned the one that was probably more functionable because I thought this one looked cute. The net part works ok but when you get ready to take it off the bump that the baby is suppose to sit on is in the wrong place. It's impossible for a baby to sit there comfortably. It seems like he is just going to pop right off it and fall in the water. I tried putting the net back and loosening it but then that bump was digging in his back. It is poorly designed but looks cute. Oh and you must wash that net often or you will have mold growing in the head cushion. I've read many reviews complaining about these same issues. I will be donating this tub and order something different.

Review 10 for Fisher-Price 3-Stage Rainforest Bath Tub
Very Happy!

After reading all the reviews I wasn't 100% sure I would be happy with this tub. Well I am very happy. We have used it since her very first bath. I see how some people would be concerned with the plastic part in the middle of the tub however my daughter seems not bothered by it. It lays right above her bottom to give support while in the hammock. She's almost ready for us to drop the bottom half of the hammock. Also it fits perfect on the kitchen sink. The legs have indentations to help secure the tub so it won't slide. We are very happy with it.

Easy to put together. Loved the toys that came with it, too bad the paint started coming off them after a couple of months of only bath time use. The tub itself is awesome and my son loves it!

We bought this when I was pregnant for our son & we love it! They get cutioned right into the sling that is provided & the head support is soft & Cushioned! Much better then the average bath tub. Now that he is 6mths old & starting to sit up it is getting a little hard to use as he still has to be supported but as soon as he can fully sit up then we will switch him to the other side. Love It!

I really like this tub for small babies. The only thing that I dislike is that it is a little too big to place on the sink to give babies a bath in the kitchen. This could just be my sink though, it might work better on a different sink. Other than that so far this tub is great, really like the teething toy that is attached to the side.

this tub is not anything like i expected! when my son was a newborn he cried everytime i put him in it. i finally figured out the sling, no matter how tight it was adjusted was not enough. his little back was resting on this hard plastic piece underneath. i started putting 2-3 folded up towels in the kitchen sink...now the tub is fine because he doesn't use the sling anymore. he can sit up in the bigger part. ugh. i will never recommend this thing to anyone, ever.

My daughter used this tub frequently as an infant and I really had to problems w/ it. My only real complaint: when the hammock was used, she was heavy enough that her tailbone hit the plastic piece in the middle. I still own this tub and am going to be using it for my next child. Overall a good tub for the price!
