I had to give up my stationary bike when I moved into a senior apartment because of no room to store when not in use. This exerciser gives me an opportunity to continue the activity and as one reviewer wrote, "looks good enough for a corner of the living room."

I was excited to get this cost-effective item home and use it. When I set it on my floor and tried to use it, it hop-skipped its way across the floor and away from me. I had to wedge it up against another heavy chair for it to stay put. When I tightened the resistance so that I'd feel it, then it jumped up and down off of the floor at me like it was very very excited or something. This may be a good option for folks with heavy carpet or lower resistance needs - but it's not a good substitute for a "regular" workout bike.

But then, that's sort of what you expect with the price. It does what I wanted it to do. But it's not meant for real workouts. I would only recommend this if someone was injured and needed it more for therapy type muscle work. I got it just to burn nervous energy while having to sit.

I got my Stamina InStride Cycle a week ago and already I have seen a big difference in the way my legs feel. I have arthritis and it was one big pain to walk. Since I have been excercising on the InStride Cycle, I can walk farther and my knees don't make a cracking sound when I get up in the mornings. I like the InStride cycle because I can bring it with me when I go places. I even bring it on my porch and excercise while bird watching. I like that the color is gray instead of chrome-looking. There is only one thing that irks me. After cycling for about two minutes, the metal pedal bar which goes into the cylinder on the right side, begans to squeak real loud. It hurts my ears and wakes up the dead. I'm thinking about spraying it with WD-40. I think the cycle overall is a life-saver for my legs and arms. And the price is not bad either.

I bought this for my parents. 86 year old Alzehimers father and 84 year old mom that does not walk well. It is a good product and I would buy it again. They both get to do some exercise in a safe way. Very pleased.

I bought this product to help me keep moving while I work from home. I pedal as I am on conference calls and it helps me get some exercise in. I pedal for 1 minute every 15 minutes and since I work 8 hours a day, I am getting about 30 minutes of exercise without even knowing it!

I have difficulty walking, so getting any exercise at all is hard. But I put this in front of me while watching TV and I have actually lost some weight! You can adjust the tension so it is easier or more difficult to peddle and it was very easy to assemble. I would recommend this product to anyone with back issues because you can sit down and still get your heart rate going. The best part is no flat tires!

I purchased it as a gift for my dad. He has Parkinson's and he had foot surgery and is supposed to excercise on a daily basis. Well the treadmill I bought for him is still in his garage and the excersise bike is collecting dust right next to it. His excuse was that he has no "exercise" room in his condo. So when I gave him the InStride Cycle, he had no excuse. He uses it faithfully 2X a day! And his mobility is much much better! I would recommend it to anyone, no matter the age.

My only problem with this product is that I bought it thinking I could use it at work, but it doesn't have enough grip to stay still on the tile floor. It slides around. So I can't use it for its intended purpose, but it does everything it's supposed to do. The tension is easy to adjust, from very light to very heavy. Overall good product.

I would recommend this to anyone who needs low impact exercise. I really enjoy doing it mainly because I can choose where I sit and I usually choose a comfy sofa infront of the TV or with a good book. I used to do my exercise in a stationary cycle but I enjoy this more!

I bought this for my father who is elderly, but needs to continue some sort of excercise, it is perfect for him. He can sit and watch TV while peddeling and can set it on a table or his Tv tray and peddel with his hands for upper body strength. Loved the stamina cycle!!!

I am 80 years of age and have poor circulation in legs and have been looking for some realistic form of exercise I was rather doubtful about product and didn`t think anything so reasonably priced could be anything but shoddy. I was very surprised how easy to assemble and sturdy it is. This way I can exercise both legs and upper body, and adjust tension as needed. Very much satisfied and would highly recommend product.

With a new bike in winter and no way to ride it, I almost bought an actual exercise bike, but decided to try this low budget approach to bike-like exercise and not clutter up my house with a large, bulky exercise bike. It does all that I expected and quite well. You can set a tension with the knob and pedal away at that tension while watching TV or whatever and get a more than decent leg workout. Seems quite durable. At this price, it will serve you well, and it can be used (and stored) anywhere.

Although it is not of the sturdiest construction, it is what I expected to get for the price. It's definitely adequate enough to burn a few extra calories while watching TV, reading, etc. I don't rely solely on this floor cycle for all of my fitness needs, but rather to supplement my existing exercise program. I recommend it. Just a bit of advice, since this floor cycle tends to scoot across the floor while using it, just weigh down the front of the cycle with a couple of hand-held weights (dumbells), and that should do the trick.

If you want to put any resistance into it at all, you have to crank down the screw on top--however, when you put a lot of resistance on it, the thing isn't stable. The feet always rotate or fall off. Pro: Very quiet Good for little old ladies who don't need a lot of resistance.
