Girls LOVE the color and it took longer to take all the pieces out of the box than to put together! I'm getting the matching bookcase next. One warning, if possible ,let it air out before putting it in the room, it has a new paint/plastic smell that needs a day or 2 to go away.

Once together you won't want to take it apart, the parts adhere togehter. Only complaint it scuffes easily. Loved the fact no tools needed. Quality to price ratio very good in comparsion to wants on the market. Desk top holds steady much better then secretary style desks. Desk made by LEGARE. Sells for more other places. Target's price is $299. Good height desk for 7yr + (yes an adult can sit and write comfortably.) CHILD APPROVED!

The desk is realy a good deal. you must be carefull it scratches real easy. I bought this for my 5 year old and after 1 week it looks like it is 6 months old. Still I think this is a great 1st desk for a child.

The product was super easy to put together - no screws or tools needed! Not quite 3 minutes, but definately under 15 minutes to put all the pieces together. The modular make of the pieces also gives the choice of what side to put shelves on (just turn the back board around and voila!). Additionally, you can choose which side you want the backpack shelf to hang from. Looks great, feels solid, and definately made my 10 year old happy!

i am a 19 year old college student, and i just bought this desk for my apartment and i must say it is GREAT!
i absolutely love it! i use it everyday, and it brightens up my whole room! i would recommend this desk to anyone who asks me about it.
its only downfall is that it is quite pricey. however, it is close to $100 cheaper at Walmart than Target!

A very cute desk for a young girl. Easy to put together and a huge hit for a 7 year old. Hopefully it is durable enough to last 5 to 10 years. Wish it had drawers but it does have a number of shelves. Would also recommend coordinating book shelf for additional storage (in lieu of a hutch).

Definitely happy with our purchase. Thought it was a little pricey just going by the online picture, but we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the desk in comparison to other high end places we had looked into.
