I am 28 years old and am the mother of three kids. I checked the BMI scale on the alli website and I am considered Obese. Its sad that I let myself get this far in my weight but when I was pregnant it just got out of hand. Before becoming pregnant with my first child I was around 180 pounds, i had a weight problem and after I was pregnant it had ballooned up to around 200 pounds. By the time I had my third and last child I was 300 pounds. When I started trying to diet I didnt know what to do, I was eating way too few calories and I was hungry all the time. I got Lipozene and I had only lost like 3 pounds with 60 Capsules. So that didnt work as well as I thought it would so I got Alli, its more expensive but comes with 90 pills and they are small so easier to swallow. Upon opening the box it comes with various books, like a menue (convenient) and a daily journal to write down all of what you are eating. I decided to get boxed dinners because its easiest to figure out how many calories are in a serving if its just one simple serving. I have been on alli for 3 weeks and have lost 10 pounds. Started at 203 and am now 293. Since im eating healthy and checking fat grams I dont have too many greacy movements like the horror stories claim. I dont have stomach problems at all and no side effects. I have only experienced the greacy movements when I make bad choices, like take a bite of my bf's burger that he cooked in butter and eat a half of a pizza instead of my usual salad and boxed dinner.
I will continue to use alli, I dont care if its a little more expensive then the other pills, if it works im happy.

Well..I don't really see any recent reviews about Alli so I'll share my experience. I bought alli though WalMart.com. Checkout and shipping was fast and easy. Although I've been using it for a week I do feel like its working. I only take it 2x a day at lunch and dinner. I started at 150-151 lbs last week ( I am 21 and 5'6#. I weighed myself today and the scale was at 146-147 # I have an old scale not a digital one lol#. I think that's pretty good considering the amount of time that I've been taking it. I've been working out as well # I did 3x this week 45min-1hr). Even though when I'm at the gym I feel like 45 mins isn't a lot I guess its enough to make a difference.
Anyways..as for eating... I've been following the guidelines for fat/calorie intake. I've had NO nasty treatment effects. "It" my have been softer than usual but never oily or just oil spotting ew!. I don't over eat ..anymore...and I make healthy choices. I already read about the treatment effects before taking Alli so I haven't ate any fatty oily meals. And I'm not gonna try ! I stocked up on fruits and vegetables. A lot of low fat and whole wheat stuff too. Anyways If I can, I will come back and write another review at the end of 30 days...or when the pills are gone. I hoped this helped someone!!

Not working like before

I was on this pill for over a year before they took it off the shelves for a while and it worked like miracle, I kept losing pounds everyday and I ended up losing 30 pounds without chaging my routine at all. But after it came back on the market late last year after disappearing from the stores for months, the product has changed, it doesn't work like before, I start gaining pounds again even being on it, it doesn't make me run to the bathroom like it used to anymore either. I looked online and a lot of people say the same thing. So I suggest not to waste your money on it anymore, it doesn't work like before.

I used this prooduct a few years ago and it worked very well. Lost an average of 3 pounds a week. This time have not lost a pound. I have had a rough time with not being able to be to far from a rest room. I don't remember it being like this the last time. Did they change their product in any way I don't know but I would like to know why it reacts differently now then it did then. If things change for the better soon I will try to up date my review.

I took Alli a couple years ago and it worked great. It disciplined me when I ate fatty meals. I am addicted to food and after infertility treatments and depression I have gained weight once again and thought I'd give Alli another go around. I got my package and started the next day and didn't have any side effects like before. I went to their Facebook page and read how other people were having the same issues. I decided I would eat a fatty meal to test the effectiveness so I got a fast food combo, came home, took a pill, then ate. Nothing happened. No side effects, nothing. I also read on their Facebook site how people were having problems with getting refunds and exchanges from the defective product so I have decided not to waste anymore money on Alli. Yes it worked before, but it isn't working now and their customer service isn't worth the stress. I hope everyone looking for weight loss can achieve their goals, but please take caution before making a purchase on Alli.

I bought 6 days ago the Refill pack , and it is totally working for me , what I like from Alli its that it forces you to eat right , the other day I ate spaghetti and that was the worst thing I could have ever done in my life , I could not stop going to the restroom and you know the rest :) .. I had all those really bad sides effects . Now I am eating better only rice and salads ( I hate salads ) but I am making the effort I am gonna start at least walking for 20 - 30 min today , I have lose 3 pound in 6 day which is great for me .. If any one have a question feel free to ask me :) ...

Before I purchased this item I was a little unsure on whether to get it or not. I had heard alot of positive as well as negative things about it. I purchased it and within 2 weeks I had lost about 12 pounds. I really didnt exercise very much because I was always working or in college but it really did help. I didnt get any of the bad symptoms it said it could have because I knew I shouldnt be eating anything with alot of fat. It really does work and I really recommend it. It is just great and FDA approved!

I first used this product in 2007 and lost 14 pds. I wasn't big. Over the years I slacked and gained a lot of weight. The end of August 2011 last year, I started again and by the end of November I was 32 pounds smaller. I couldn't believe it and everyone around me couldn't either. I was successful because I allowed myself a cheat day once a month to anything but sodas. It worked for me and I'm sure it will for you.

I would recommend if you need to lose weight. I stayed away from alot of fat in my diet and I didn't have the side effects I have heard other people have had.

I have been taking Alli for almost 2 years. Helps me a lot, along with a diet, in losing weight. Cuts fat absorption as evidenced by steatorrhea (fatty stools). I have lost 25 lbs in 1 year and my blood pressure is now normal. You have to be careful and go to the bathroom frequently (2-3 times per day) to avoid an accident with fatty stools.
