I bought this clock radio and liked it so much that I purchased another. I had to wait on the second one (this one) because it was out of stock. Apparently I am not the only one who likes it.

I had an old Sony clock radio that had stopped working. With cash in short supply, I went to Walmart to see what decent clock radio they had. This unit looked good and was amazingly inexpensive. It was easy to set up, has a nice big clear display and the radio turns out to be far superior to the old one. I am fully satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

I notice some reviewers said the alarm was too soft for those who might be hard of hearing. That may be true for the buzzer alarm, but this can be set so that you are wakened by the radio with its adjustable volume. I have severe hearing loss in both ears and the radio alarm, with the volume cranked up, works well for me.
This looks good on the nightstand, is easy to use, and resets itself in the event of a power outage or change in daylight savings time - a convenience I appreciate.
I'm very happy with this - suits my needs and I felt it was well priced.

My alarm clock didn't work and I needed an alarm clock for work the next day. I saw this clock for 10.99 on site to store and I could get it in 4 hours. I ordered it and went to pick it up. I plugged it in and the time was automatically set and I set a radio station and turned on the alarm. It works great! I have several sony products and they all work great. Thank you Walmart for having a good product on hand and having it ready for pick up when I needed it. I would recommend this alarm clock to anyone that asked.

Great radio that operates easy and I was shocked that the daylight saving time functioned automatically on it. I'm sure it was mentioned in the instructions but I am so use to having to change the time on these things that to actually see it happen is amazing.

I'm really impressed with it based on how inexpensive it is, it's durable - I love the feature that allows me to unplug it and move it and when I plug it in the time is already set to what I had and the alarm time is still set. The alarm is very, very loud when set to the highest setting. I would recommend it to anyone, it's been dropped a few times (I have a toddler who likes to pull things off the TV) and it still works without a problem.

This clock is definitely more for less! It is a space saver so it fits perfectly on my small night stand. I can choose to wake to music or alarm buzzer; there's a 90 min. music sleep setting, and a 10 min. snooze! It does require a specific sony battery that runs aound $6.00 depending upon where you purchase it. Overall GREAT BUY!!!!!!

When you buy a clock radio for $10, you can't expect much and that's what you'll get with this radio... not much. First, I bought this mainly to use as an alarm clock and for that purpose, it does the job like any digital clock. You plug it in, set the time and the alarm and not much else. The alarm is pleasant enough, a little chirp that slowly builds, not obnoxious like most clocks. If it was just a clock and not a radio as well, I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars. The radio portion is absolutely about useless. The tuning wheel is way too stiff which negates the ability to be precise. Tuning is hit & miss and you'll spend a lot of time narrowing down stations, especially in AM mode. FM seems to ghost frequencies and you'll get maybe 2 or 3 or even 4 "images" of the same FM station. With such a small visual tuning window, it's hard to even find stations that you know where they are on the dial! Oh well, find one station you can live with and fiddle with the thing til it sounds sufficient enough. Also, if you have any other electrical devices nearby that cycle or have motors (like humidifier for example), it will interfere with the radio terribly and you'll hear the cycling through the speakers when the radio is on, meaning there is little or no shielding from outside interference. Again, it's $10, I'm almost amazed that anything electrical that works can even be made for that cheap of a price. We're a throw away society now unfortunately and well built, good sounding table radios are a rare thing. This radio replaced another Sony that lasted less than 2 years. When this radio dies (and I'm SURE it will sooner than later), I'll get a decent clock radio with a digital radio. This radio also has a battery backup which I have not had to use yet but I'm sure it's adequate for the task.

I have 10 of these in my business and have had them for 2 years. They play great and keep great time. I have never had to reset time when power goes out and they all keep perfect time.

This product is amazing right from the box - you will be amazed to see exact time when you plug it for first time. I have had several brands of the last 15 years anf nothing seems to keep the clock running accurately during power off, what a waste of putting 9volt battery in clocks when its not good. This clock comes with battery in it and automatically keeps time accurate. Its display is perfect, not too dim not too bright and digit size if just perfect.
The finish of this product is amazing, its rare to find clocks with such good finish, I am surprised how its selling for so low, it really is a steal deal.
Its the first clock(out of 10 different brands that I've had in last few years) that has a better radio receiption. I have put my clock on the tv and yet I get very good radio reception without having to turn it around, where some other clocks have failed.
I totall recommend this product.
