Corelle Livingware Urban Red 16-Piece Dinnerware Set

These are so bright and cheerful! I have a longstanding love for Corelle, since I received Corelle as wedding gifts in 1968, and have been an devotee ever since. I love how they stand up to heavy use, and continue looking good for years. They are so thin, and stack so neatly that they take up little cupboard space. These newer Corelle, have a better cup, not so thin, so they are more comfortable to hold when hot.
The only drawback that I have seen, is that when washed in a sink, the plates fit so closely, that it is hard to separate them.
I can live with that, as this dinnerware is great in so many ways.
I needed the sandwich-sized plates, which I can only find in Cafe Red, but they complement this Urban Red.
I wish that I could find matching serving bowls and casseroles.
I would recommend Corelle dinnerware to anyone, and especially families with small children.

These are the best of the best. The color is the perfect shade of red to match my "farmhouse" style kitchen. I love the weight of these dishes without them being heavy. They are perfect for my busy house full of 4 boys.

My hubby and I purchased this along with the complementing black set and are very pleased with both. My previous dinnerware set was Corelle and even through my years in college and then some, there was never one chip or break, so I'm confident these will last as well. However. the color does seem to be fading slightly on both the red and black sets, but that may be due to the harsh dish washing detergent we use and a lack of a water softener. Overall I'm very pleased with the stylish appearance and durability of this set.

I used Corelle when raising my four children and had absolutely no complaints. Now I am a senior and need unbreakable products, so Corelle is the answer for me.

These dishes are great! Wonderful colors, very nice red color just like in the photos. The dishes were all intact upon arrival. They are very light weight but very durable as well. I would definitely reccommend them to other consumers wanting the corelle brand and quality without the high price. Worth every penny :o)

We had a set of Corelle dinnerware that we used for 34 1/2 years - we loved them! I just got tired of the ivy pattern and we remodeled our kitchen - no more green anywhere. My only complaint is that Corelle does not package their product properly for shipping. We received two sets as Christmas gifts; one was in hundreds of pieces. First replacement set did not indicate any broken pieces; however upon opening one cup was damaged. It had to have originated at the factory - NOT WalMart's fault. We had to order a third set and exchange the broken cup for a complete set. I wish WalMart carried this pattern in their stores, it would have saved us a lot of headaches! I added a set of 8 28 oz. white bowls and 8 white small plates to complete the set. We are very satisfied and would recommend them highly.

I love these dishes. The only reason I gave it a 4 for durability is because I ordered 4 sets. In one of the boxes the large dinner plate was in literally a million pieces. The box rattled so much I was afraid to open it. But once I opened it, only 1 plate was damaged. I think it had more to do with the packaging at the factory. My daughter has already dropped one between the kitchen cupboard and the countertop and no damage at all! These dishes are bright, cheery and I'm very pleased.
