When I bought this album back in january of 08 and first popped it into my cd player, I was a little uncertain wheather it would still have the same affect on me as the classic Eagles songs. To my amazment, it sure did. After being a dedicated Eagles fan for nearly five years, they sure did prove that they still have waht it takes. If you get the oppurtunity to see them on their current tour, definatley take up on it. The song "No more cloudy days" is great because it shows frey at his best and touches nearly every eagles fans heart. And last and opposite of least is "How Long." This song truly is the current Eagles at their best. It cobines the groups wide range of talent into one three-minute song. As the eagles do at all of their eden tours, I start EVERY DAY off with this song, and after listening to it 500 times or so, it never gets old. The Eagles are as professional as they have ever been and are truly musical legends. Do not think twice about investing in this album!

As a life long Eagles fan I love this album. Of course one would expect as much from any band who has been making consistently good music like these guys. There is a wide range of styling on the album as you can definitely feel the influences of the individual band members in the songs they authored for the album. This is an album that gets more comfortable with each listening like a pair of jeans....it gets better with every wearing.

The Eagles have again produced and recorded a fine set of CD's. CD 1 is good, but they come into their own on CD2 with "Long Road Out of Eden" and "Frail Grasp on the Big Picture". Highly recommend this to Eagles fans!! Enjoy!!!!

EAGLES are as hot as they always were.... Voices, instrumentals EXCELLENT!!! Favorite songs... "How long", "Busy being fabulous!", "What do I do with my heart" For some who suggested they had changed their style to more of a "country" feel... I disagree.... Country today is equalvalent to the rock of the 60's so teh EAGLES have matured their music to appeal to all.

The Eagles have been a favorite band of mine since I got the first album in 1971. Much has changed since then and much has remained the same. I did not know how much I missed them until I heard their voices in harmony. This must be the first time in almost 30 years that the Eagles have gotten together for a CD of totally original music. It was great to hear everyone take turns singing the lead. I am glad Glenn Frey and Don Henley put aside their differences to write six songs together. I am curious about the length of the songs. Long Road Out of Eden will never be played on the radio at 10:15 nor will I Dreamed There Was No War at 1:37 I love How Long and am very fond of I Love to Watch a Woman Dance. The rest? I am sure they will grow on me the more I listen to the CD. Only then will I be able to say if this is a must have for true Eagles fans. As for me, I am glad I gave it a try.

I was disappointed in this Eagle's CD. It is easy listening, however there is not a single song I am crazy about. The music is good, but the lyrics seem forced and at times trite. I was impressed that there were so many songs on this single CD...but quantity does not equal quality.

I didn't know what to expect from the first Eagles recording in a very long time. While I don't think these new tracks are among the best they have recorded, and none stand out as exceptional as do many of the Eagles hits over the years, several are very good.
