Poor Quality Plates - Don't Waste Your Money

Purchased these plates since the photos made them look simple, elegant and classic. Except for the color white (which meets the simple category) nothing else fit.
The plates were paper thin and felt more like hard plastic dishes than anything glass, ceramic or some other durable material. Needless to say these were returned promptly and we purchased a better set from Target.

Got this Corelle set for a great deal. Delivery was fast. Everything arrived intact with no breakage. I was impressed. Quality of item is as you would expect from Corelle products. The mugs were much heaver than I thought. They are stoneware mugs and not made from the same thin chip resistant material as the plates and bowls. I was pleasantly surprised. Love the stoneware mugs. And I love that the plates and bowls are lightweight and microwavable.

I got tired of my old dish sets chipping and just not being user friendly, so I thought back to growing up in a family of eight with the unbreakable, indestructible Corelle dishes. I have to tell you that I have been using these for everything, they clean easy, and are made very resistant to damage! GREAT, Thank you Corelle and Wal-Mart for the super price.

I bought these plates for my daughter and her little family....they recently moved and had sold all of their old plates before moving so they didn't have to pack them and risk breakage. The new correlle set is simple, yet elegant and will last a long time with a young family. I have had my original set for almost 30 years! As a side note....the boxes arrived on my porch just 3 days after I ordered them and the shipping was free.....can't beat that! Thank you Walmart for your quick delivery! :)

Very attractive dishes, esp. if you are all about the food and not the dish it is served on. Nevertheless, they are simple and even elegant in appearance. I like the stoneware mugs instead of the old Corelle glass cups that didn't keep your beverage hot. The handle is a nice size also. Excellent value and they take up very little storage space in the cabinets.

Corelle Livingware has been a favorite of my family for years. This particular set--a basic service for four in Winter Frost--is perfect for any occasion you may need it for: a starter set for those who have just moved into their own place; a basic set for the kids who've just gone off to college; or even a set of dishes to add to an existing set. You can't beat it for durability, either. I just wish that the mugs had also been made of Corelle instead of stoneware. The entire set still looks stellar, though, and all parts of the set are dishwasher- and microwave-safe.
