thjis is a great product with one exception. they need to make the riser come up a little more so things like english muffins are easy to remove. as it is you need to use a utensil to get them out.

WOW! We got this toaster about a week ago, We had recently bought a cheaper brand and toast would NOT go all the way down in the old one we bought sooo ... Decided to buy this one due to Brand... WOW VERY DISAPPOINTING! It takes like 5 min. just to do a light toast and the toast come out extremely DRY, Also cord is realllly short... All in all I am stuck with it for now but willll get a new one ASAP! :(

The toaster has nice big slots and otherwise should function well (haven't used it). Unfortunately, I am going to return it because it is much too big for my small counter top. I'm disappointed. I've had good luck with Black and Decker products in the past and expect this one would do very well as far as making toast and being durable, but it is just too big for my small space.

The toaster does what toasters do; however it takes much too long to brown bread even at high/dark setting. The bread is too dry by the time it browns. The design is a little bulky, but the wide slots do allow for bagels and larger pieces of bread.

Much bigger than I imagined, and it took longer to toast than my old one. It's too much of a hassle to return it, but I wouldn't buy this again - especailly for the price. I should have listened to my husband and just gotten "the cheapest one". That theory worked for us, as our old one only cost $9.99 and was great for 7 years. Oh well, not a bad toaster just not what I had hoped for. I'll try T-Fal next time. But that thing is built like a tank, so it will probably last forever.

Toaster was returned. I have been searching for a toaster that would brown ordinary bread evenly and consistantly. This is the fourth toaster I tried and still no luck. Why is it that there are no ordinary regular slot toasters made any more? Every toaster out there has wide slots and self centering toast guides. These are fine for bagels and other specialty breads but they just do not work on ordinary bread. This toaster like all the others I've tried toasted unevenly and took so long to toast that the bread came out too dry. I have found thin slice toasters on the market but they are now considered gourmet and run into the hundreds of dollars! I know lots of people are looking for a regular slice toaster, if any manufacturer made a cheap one again they'd sell a bunch!

Large bagels fit well in this one. Plus it has bottons to toast frozen stuff or just bagels just right without burning it or making into a hocky puck. I am use to the small old fashion toasters so when I took this out of its package I was shocked at how big it is. Plus I saved $10.00 buying in online! Works great!

This toaster is well engineered and made. You can tell by the positive lock when you push the lever down - you don't have to slam it; and the firmness of the buttons. It toasts evenly on both sides by holding the food in the very center of the slot. My Black and Decker toaster oven has also been the best I've ever owned.
