Goes into sleep mode and loses wireless connection. When it loses wireless connection, it is almost like reinstalling it. Hook up a USB cable and start over. Pretty stupid.

Printer set up was easy.Wireless set up was easier and USB cable was included in the box to help with wireless setup.Print quality is good.Wi-Fi printing is nice but scanning is amazing.Also the option to save the scanned file into different formats (pic to .doc,.pdf etc) is like icing on the cake.
Not sure about the ink usage or refill issues but will update my review, once I reach at that point.
Good experience shopping at Walmart as well.

The Lexmark X 4530 wireless printer-copier-scanner was delivered in less time than was stated to our local Wal-Mart store. The transaction was very convenient, and comforting to know that it could be returned without a dreaded 15% restocking fee – as found with most computer stores.
My past history has been with HP printers. The Lexmark came with a poorly printed instruction manual (in comparison to HP) Example: the faded out illustrations on inserting the ink cartridges. In contrast, the instructional steps in the CD were clear.
Performance: All of the functions (printer, copier and scanner) operated very precisely and quietly. Photo coping and printing was crisp, even on cheap paper. There is a unique, but simple, system of inserting paper in the tray: just set an expandable guide to the size of the paper, cards or photo paper. I made an effort to include the wireless feature but failed in the attempt. There is a requirement to enter my Netgear router "security key" from it's manual - that I no longer have. The only unfortunate thing about this printer is the lack of separate color ink cartridges.
In my estimation, this Lexmark printer is an excellent printer at a reasonable price.

This is an excellent printer. Wireless capability allows use by all my home PCs and laptops.
All users can print and scan documents remotely.
Scanned documents can be saved and turned into a fax or e-mail attachment.
This printer is fast and quiet.
It is the best printer I've owned.

The set up was very easy and quick. This is a great printer for the money. I love the camera memory card slot in the front. This machine does a lot for the money. It is wireless, but I found out that printing while working wireless, it's very slow. But if you use the USB cable it prints very fast. Over all a good printer.

I bought this printer to go in my college dorm this fall. It has worked well for the price and it does what I need it to do. Had a few problems when I switched from Wi-Fi to the USB cable but I reinstalled the program and it's working fine now.

I received Wal-Mart gift cards as a gift and deceided to purchase a new printer. I chose the Lexmark X4530 because of the price and that it was wireless. I am very satisfied with the Lexmark, it was very easy to set up and it is very user friendly.

My first experience with an add-on wireless device. Do exactly as it says when you open the box, find the CD and insert it and follow instructions. Before I had realized it, it asked would you like to print a test page, and, lo and behold on first try, all went as was promised. Outstanding color photo pictures and sharp black and white. I'm sure this will be my printer for the future. I use it for my both my laptop and desk-top computers, 2 printers for the price of one.

This wireless printer is outstanding. I ordered it online and received it within three business days. Within ten minutes of opening the box I had it installed, networked with two computer, and printing. There is little effort involved in setting this system up and the printing quality is excellent. The best part is that it is low priced. Five stars all the way.

easy to hook up-had to disable virus scan software. The only thing I've found so far that isn't in the promotional material is that it doesn't seem to be able to do both wireless and USB communication at the same time. It's one or the other, but seems consistent. Just unplug the USB and the wireless takes over and works fine. Time will tell if it hangs in ok.

This printer meets or exceeds my expectations. Very easy to set up--even the wireless connections. Worked the first time I asked it print--did exactly what I asked--if only everything I bought did as well! I would most assuredly recommend this product. The set-up directions were very easy to follow. I loved the fact that it senses the type of paper that I am using since I use a variety of paper weights and textures. Good job Lexmark!
