This is the combo box with Game + Controller that Walmart doesn't seem to carry in stores anymore. The price is a bit high but if you want to buy a controller alone it's going to cost about the same. I've been playing with this unit for a month or so now and have had some minor problems with the green button but I have get to determain if that it's me messing up or the controller. Short of that it seems to work fine. Shipping was faster then expected as it arrived before Walmarts estimated arrival date.

great product lots of great songs, higher levels get quite challenging. a little expensive for a game. ROCK BAND however seems to be almost exactly the same only that it can come with drums, and it has more than just 2 player offline unlike g hero. So buy rock band instead of g hero, or buy both.

i was really impressed with this product. as soon as i got it i was addicted. this is a fun, challenging, and easy-to-use-game and i will have fun playing it for a long time. i was also impressed with the site-to-store delivery service. it was a quick and easy pick-up with no problems. i would suggest this to anyone, even though you may have to wait an extra week it's worth it because of the money you save on shipping. this is a great product that i would recommend to anyone.

HORRIBLE PACKING!! shipping box looked like it was dragged across the country!! and the tape looked like it was used as a rope rather than tape. the packing material was on the bottom 90% of the box, and then my item on top of that with nothing on the top. the item box wasn't damaged that i could tell, but the guitar will stop working in the middle of a song. i have to jam on the switch a few times to get it to work. not sure if it's cause of the packaging or if this is normal. but for the price you can't beat it!

It's Guitar Hero 3 for PS3. You're probably already familiar with the GH franchise so there's not a lot to add. It's a fun to play at parties or if you just have an hour to kill some evening and want to rock out by yourself. The guitars for PS3 seem to be of better quality than the ones in GH3 for PS2. But that's just my opinion. One thing I will say about Guitar Hero 3. The jump from Medium to Hard is really more of a skill level jump than I think they should have made. They add the extra key *and* make the songs faster/harder on top of that. My opinion is that they should have kept the same speed as medium and then work in the extra key. Again, just my opinion. Maybe someday I'll have the patience to fumble through Hard until I get the hang of it. For now, just too frustrating for me so I go back to Medium.

Hooked it up and started game play, I absolutely loved it. Had a blast, my wife even commented on how much fun it was just to watch, I did offer for her to try, just not ready yet I guess, When world tour comes out this fall Its on my list to buy, When we get that and have the whole band set It will be a great New Years game for all to play and have a blast, taking turns playing guitar, drums and singing. overall very very pleased with this game!!!!!!!

This is the first time I ever played guitar hero. Very fun! I haven't played previous versions of guitar hero but this one has a great songlist. And now I wish all my favorite rock songs were on guitar hero. Which means they could make guitar hero games for the next century. The guitar video game concept is new but it's an exciting challenge. I would recommend this game to anyone, even avid game players. It's a great family game also. Another hint, choose Guitar Hero over Rock Band.

I am a video game fan but I put off buying this game because I never thought I would care anything about it. I knew it was popular but I could not see myself playing it.My wife bought it for my son.He showed no interest. I forced my self to hook it up and give it a chance. I am addicted to it now.It is fun and challenging on just easy mode.I do not think any mortal human should be able to play this on expert with any success.Awesome game.

Guitar Hero III is the best music game I've ever played! I used to go to my friends house to play and he had Guitar Hero II, which I could hardly play on easy. Now that I have Guitar Hero III I can play on EXPERT and lead a Guitar Hero club. If you need a great game get Guitar hero III!!! I give it 10 out of 5!!!!!
