My now 4 yr old son recieved this as a birthday present 2 years ago. He has truely ran this truck through the test. I have been surprised and impressed at what this truck will take. My son is a dare devil and gets more creative to go faster and bumpier using small hills and things. He loves the radio and the tailgate and always loves to give rides to his friends. It has lasted great since 2 years ago and continues to last great. Just two weeks ago we took it to the beach and he drove it all over the sand. We only had one service issue with it, a few months ago. It would not move in reverse very well at all. I was sure that my son had stripped the gears in it because he does not stop when going from forward to reverse. We found a local service repair shop through FP's website and discovered it was only a rod axle that was somehow too long and causing it to slip when driving. The charge was only $25. And it works like new again!! I was so excited because I just thought the car would have to be replaced. It is definately the top toy my son plays with and well worth it. All the older kids 7, 8, 9 always want to ride it and it will work with them and my son in it. It has great traction, speed and what little boy wouldn't want his own tailgate!

Product was exactly what we expected plus more. Although some parts were missing we had to call the company for replacement and are still waiting for them. Otherwise it was more than expected.

We bought this for our daughters 3rd birthday and after 1 1/2 years we still love it so much we are buying another one. Our 2 1/2 year old son is now fighting his sister for it so Santa will be bring another this year. We live in the woods no concrete and it has been excellent. We placed half of a cinder block in the back of it to give it a little more traction in the back. This keeps the tires from spinning. We did need to bring it to the shop twice but the was my sons fault not the trucks. He damaged the switch board by throwing into other gears as my daughter was driving.

I purchased this truck for my 3 year old son (a birthday present).

He loves it. On rainy days he will sit in the garage and listen to the radio and pretend to drive it (soo cute)

It's easy for him to drive and understand. He checks the battery and lets me know when it needs to be recharged.

He drives it everywhere from concrete, over roots, pinestraw and through thick grass (plus the flower beds and bed guards)

What a toy!

Easy to put together (I did it myself in about 1 1/2 hours and that's with help from my little one, if you know what I mean ;)

For the amount of money that this product was I would have thought the doors would have opened. I mean come on the tailgate opens why wouldn't the doors! My kids could not even reach the peddles! So they need help to ride not really an option! So over all I did not think that is was worth even close to what we paid for it!

I purchased the F150 for my 4 1/2 year old grandson because the reviews where more favorable than some other ride-ons I looked at. He is very tall for his age, but I can see that he will fit in it for some time to come. It was very easy for me (Grandma) to put it together, about an hour. At first we had considerable issues with traction, as his yard is not flat, and we wondered whether this was a wise purchase. But after he got the hang of driving it, and we removed the restriction on the higher gear, all that was solved. He now rides it in a mowed field without difficulty and he loves it. The radio does not work, though.
With in-store pick-up, Walmart had by far the best price. Overall very satisfied

All in all, its a cute little truck and my 4.5 yr old adores it BUT its not as heavy duty as they portray it. It says its 4x4, won't get stuck, etc basically like you can go off-roading in it. Well, we have a flat yard and mow our grass pretty low and he still get stuck and the tires will just keep spinning. It gets old because we have to constantly go and push him to get going again. I thought the tires were real from the pictures, but they're just plastic and don't have much grab/traction at all. It has a working radio, but you can't choose what stations you want. You just have to scan thru them to find something. I thought the headlights would work, but they don't. Its a cute truck and he has a lot of fun in it, but I don't think its worth almost $400...more like $200/250 tops.

I got this truck for my 5 year old grandson and he was instantly a "trucker". He loves the radio. He says, "Look, this radio really works,Grandpaw!" He has 5 acres of mowed grass to run in and he loves to load stuff in the truck bed and run it around the yard. Great Product.
