After much research and comparison I chose this steam mop and I am THRILLED with it. It's offered at a fantastic price, first of all - WalMart's Site-To-Store is so convenient and free shipping. This Bissell is a cinch to assemble, easy to operate, lightweight enough but STURDY, swivels, heats up very quickly and stays ready while you re-fil the ample sized tank. Replacement parts aren't outrageously priced either. It cleaned linoleum flooring back to "looks new" condition and even my bathroom tile floor from the 1950's - grout and all. Get this one!

The Bissell floor steamer is WONDERFUL! I couldn't believe the ick it took off my floors on the first usage. I thought my floors were quite clean BEFORE I used it. I use it on tile, linoleum, and laminate (Pergo) twice a week now, and my floors are just spotless without applying any chemicals. I do use distilled water in it, but that's a hugh saving compared to the chemicals I was buying for my various floor surfaces. I would (and AM) recommending this Bissell floor steamer to everone. It's very easy to use - heats up even faster than my Shark handheld steamer. Great product, great price, thanks WALMART!

I love this thing. It's great! It arrived about 2 hrs ago and couldn't wait to use it. It took about 20 minutes to do my kitchen, bathroom and dining room floors. I don''t think my floors have been this clean since they were new. This machine is so easy to use I can't believe it. Even my husband said the floor look Great!

Friends recommended the steam mop to me, and I love mine. You will need to sweep or vacuum your floors really well before you use the steam mop, but it's so much easier than using a traditional mop. As importantly, it really works. My floors are so clean and I don't have to buy floor cleaner anymore.

I saw this on Walmart site about 2 years ago and have wanted one since. I finally was able to save the money and purchase it about 3 months ago. It is durable (I dropped it twice) and heats up rather quickly. I live in an apartment, so the cord is long enough for me, but I could see it being a problem for larger floor plans. Does an amazing cleaning job and will actually wash carpets as well! I let the steam sit over the stain for a bit before I start "mopping" over it. This steam mop is truly a great investment. :) The few things I would say they could change to make it an even better product are: to add another filter in with the purchase, increase the cord length and add a attachment to do corners and/or appliances/furniture.

It does clean very well but once the cloth gets really wet floors will dry with streaks (especially wood). If you have a lot of floors to clean alternate between both cloths that come with the mop.

I was hoping this steam mop would get my tile floor cleaner and get out ground in dirt. If you make the mop head wet with lots of steam, the dirt flows into the grout and stays there instead. The mop pad is not thick enough to wick the dirty water out of the grouted areas. A more dimensional mop pad would do a better job. Also, a scrub strip on the pad would be a good addition. The mop itself is easy to push, easy to fill and probably would be terrific on a laminate floor without grooves.

Unless you have about 40 minutes to let your floor dry from so-called "steam", I would not recommend this steam mop. It left my floors soaking wet. If I dumped a bucket of very hot water on the floor, it would have the same effect. This is going back to the store. It NEVER gets hot enough to sanitize your floors, don't be fooled. A waste of money.

Our new golden retriever puppy means mopping our laminate floors more often than I care to, but he's worth it. The mop and bucket meant wasted water and wasted time. The Bissell Steam Mop is great! I fill it one time to do my whole downstairs and with the two cleaning pads it comes with, I'm not pushing dirt around. The swivel head is easy to navigate and makes it easy to get in all kinds of places. If floors are heavily soiled, there may be some streaking, but go over them again and they're sure to come out shiny. Would highly recommend this product.

I have used once so far and it really got the floor clean. Does leave a bit of water behind. I just steamed and wiped in sections. I have hardwood floors with Cats that love to track liter. My old cat also sneezes and the steam vac got the harden sneeze stuff of the floor. Love this product so far.

This steam mop has been a real money saver for us. The grout between our ceramic tile had become dark because of years of use. I thought we would have to have it replaced. I had used a Swiffer mop for years, but it wasn't helping it. One use with the Bissell mop, and I couldn't believe how bright the grout became. Now I use it weekly and the floor looks great.

I only used this product once-as soon as I received it. I am very pleased with the results. My husband and I are in our 50's and it's getting too hard to get on our hands and knees and scrub the floor. We used it on vinyl in the kitchen and it is just what we needed. Our floor has little niches in the design and there were some dirty spots in those areas before we cleaned. They disappeared immediately! We have soft water and I'm not sure if we will need distilled water as is suggested. We will probably use distilled to keep it working well and doesn't clog up.

This was purchased for my Mom. She uses a walker so a bucket and mop are impossible for her to handle. The steam mop she can use the walker and still clean her floor. She said the first time it took a while to clean, but the next time she didn't use as much water and it dried in no time. Thanks for a great product.

This thing is AWESOME!!!
I have tendinitis in my forearms as well as problems with my neck and shoulders and this thing is GREAT! I admit that up until now I did not frequently wash my floors because of the severe pain it would cause me, and getting my husband to help was, well... he's a husband...
Anyway, I have a small kitchen, 2 small bathrooms and a small entry of no-wax flooring, so the cord length was not a problem for me. I got through the whole thing with 1 filling and a little water left over [soft tap water]. I started on my 2 year old kit./bath downstairs. They are "low gloss". They came out great. My technique was to hold down the steam lever [very easy!] going up and release on the return. No problems with water puddling. The water container never dropped off - sturdy machine.
The best part for me physically -- NO SCRUBBING! Just let it glide! I changed to the 2nd pad when I noticed dirty water on the last of the 4 floors. After changing, no problem - clean, dry floor.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone, especially anyone with physical problems. Now maybe I have floors clean enough to eat off of! [But probably not as I have a dog and 4 cats...]

Bought a Steamfast Steam mop last year and it cracked twice on me, leaking water all over the floor. The first time it was within the warranty period but the second time was 13 months in. All the steam mops out there are made of plastic so I replaced my Steamfast with a Bissell that looked like it was built better. It especially feels stronger where the swivel mop neck and handle meet. I like the fact that it is built heavier and tougher and could care less if it is 2 pounds heavier than my old Steamfast, just as long as it doesn't crack into pieces. I also like the trigger so you can release steam when you want instead of it constantly spewing steam and dripping water everywhere. Works much better then the SteamFast and can apply pressure to the mop handle without worry of it cracking. The Bissell works good on my dark laminate flooring but works excellent to clean linoleum bathroom floors that are gunked up with hairspray. If your pad is new and clean, you will have few streaks to deal with. If you’re debating between a Steamfast and a Bissell, I highly recommend the Bissell. Hopefully, it works well past the warranty period. Good luck and hope this helps.
