I have had my Half time microwave for over three years now and absolutely love it. I can use it for everything in my meal. Those things that need to be crisp I can cook on half time and just that---in half the time given on the package. It cooks just like your oven but in half the time! I will get another when this one wears out, which doesn't seem like any time soon.

We have a Half Time Oven in our RV. It smoked and burned last night. I called the US distributor to see about a replacement (out of warranty by about 20 days). The technician called me back (on Black Friday). Walked me through some stuff and then offered two options. One they would ship me a box to ship the unit back for repair or they would ship me the motor, instructions, a $50 check for doing the repairs ourselves and extend the warranty by 6 Months. I have never had customer service like this. Definitely will purchase from these folks again.

We first learned about Apollo Half Time Ovens after buying our motor home. It came with the built in over the range black model. We were so impressed that we bought two more for the house. The two we bought for the kitchen are stainless steel counter top models to better match our existing appliances.
These Half Time Ovens are simply amazing. Truly does cook in half the time (or less). Food comes out just about perfect every time. Nice to make just a few cookies (frozen school fundraiser type) at a time. Goes from raw frozen dough to a nicely finished browned cookies in about 5 or 6 minutes.
I can think of nothing I would improve or even change about this model.

We needed new microwave. I checked on convectional all in one this was cheapest. Its nice to cook and not heat the whole kitchen just for something like pizza or cookies.

Ok I purchased this oven not too long ago. Here is what I thought. Firstly when we took it out of the box it seemed there was a super small dent on the top right side. After I have had time to look at it more its seems something inside presses on the top making it seem that way. This "dent" Protrusion is very microscopic just about unnoticeable, so I overlook it (but yeah by now you would think the company could work this flaw out. The looks of it are attractive enough, but its set up like a basic microwave with no fancy button gadgety features period! Its 1000 watts, if you need more than that you won't find it in this model. It makes popcorn to done in 30secs less than time on popcorn button and heats water in very large mug in 1.5 minutes so I am satisfied with the microwave part. I have used the half-time feature on as many things as I can whenever I can and it does cook it in way less time. If you like your food crisper then you are going to have to settle for 60% cook time which is fine with me. I can't imagine baking too much in this, I mean look how small it is so I would not even begin! As for if it will last only time will tell. I did buy a 2year extended warranty for a whole 20bucks! You aren't going to touch one of these ovens by a different maker for less than 300 dollars so for me it was a great bargain/gamble :)

I have owned this microwave/convection oven for 1 month. I absolutely love this machine. I have used the complete meal option which did great. I cooked pork chops over asperagus. The pork was juicy and the asperagus was still firm like I like it. Crazy huh? The pork wasn't quite as brown but that would have taken a skillet to brown it in. It was definately acceptable. Totinoes pizza good but not as crisp as I would have liked but ok for the kids. This machine saves me a lot of money on propane. I don't have to preheat and cook using the big oven. It also keeps the house cooler. It shows using the regular microwave glass plate as the base for cooking meat, but if it's juicy it will overflow and make a mess. I use a glass pie plate under the grill rack to catch the juices and it works good. You can use oven cleaner to clean the inside if you want, that's a plus. I really like this machine I hope it last a long time, that was my only worry from the other reviews. It looks good in my kitchen next to my other black and stainless steel appliances. The only thing it doesn't have is a timer and a way to turn off the finish beeper. I can live with that. Oh, frozen french fries came out crisp on the non stick tray. A whole chicken came out brown and juicy too. Too cool!

This unit was a bargain....given all it does....it's like having a second oven. It bakes, microwaves, and does any combination of things. I am thoroughly impressed and pleased with this unit...especially the half time cooking feature. This does alot more than any microwave only unit could ever use.
I do recommend the Stainless Steel unit as the cleaning is much easier. Also, this unit does load down most 20A GFI circuits, so if it is an older circuit, you may have to replace the breaker.

For the first 10-11 months it was truly a marvel. I didn't believe that it could bake, but boy howdy, it did the job. I wouldn't have traded it for anything else in the world. Alas, the love affair was fleeting. The convection feature quit before the year was out. I took it apart and found an open in the heating element. I repaired the wiring and it worked again. About 2 months later the microwave feature quit. After repairing it the first time I fear going inside the unit again. The innards were cheap at best. It is not designed or built to be repaired. So if you can afford to replace it every year, it's great. But if your living on a fixed income it's a real disappointment. I had to dig out my 12 year old Panasonic microwave to replace it. I would not buy another, I'm just saying.

I haven't owned the oven long enough to speak to its durability, but it is a beautiful appliance that we love. Stainless inside and out, I expected it to always show fingerprints. It doesn't! Very easy to wipe off, and the stainless interior just gleams. But design means nothing if an appliance doesn't work well. This one does. We especially love the half-time baking feature; food bakes beautifully in just one-half the normal time, just as advertised. And it is more efficient than heating my huge, built-in oven. The microwave function also works well. It is the quietest MW I've ever had, and the door closes with a satisfying, softer thud. What's missing? A single button for adding time in minute increments (but we can live with that). I wish the "I'm finished" beeps were a little louder (easy to miss with the TV on) and that they would repeat at intervals, but we just have to pay closer attention. We put this oven to serious use every day, and I highly recommend it as a quality product.

I wanted a combo convection oven and microwave, but microwave takes too long to heat up. Usually 2 min tops would heat up water for tea, not this brand. I get frustrated when I am in a hurry. I may return this item

Bought this to replace a GE conv/grill/micro that was sparking on microwave. This unit is much much better. The convection oven actually works, much faster than the sorry GE. The grill works great too and of course the microwave is outstanding.

I am absolutely amazed with this product. I have had mine for years. It cooks all foods in half the normal cooking time as a regular gas or electric oven. Also it comes with a bonus grill rack that you can use on top of the glass tray, for cooking foods like hot dogs, hamburgers, steaks etc.
I love the half time feature as well. All you have to do is put the food directly on the tray or if you want to do a casserole dish you put it in a glass casserole dish, set the temperature, set half the time and start! Thats it. I know that a lot of people have made bad reviews about this product, but i'm telling you, it is great. If you EVER have a problem, they have wonderful customer service that help you with any questions you have on the oven.
You would be missing out if you didn't get this oven!

It has been over 6 months since i bought the half time. I read all the reviews good and bad and decided i really would like to try it. That was a great decision, even though the first one was defective, but the company and Walmart was great they replaced immediately so it was ok. It has been one of the greatest products I have ever bought. During the 100 deg. Summer months i was baking without heating up the house it is not complicated to use and comes with a laminated cheat sheet to keep handy in the kitchen. On nights i forget to take something out i have thrown only half defrosted roasts in it for an hour and got the best , moist and tender roast ever, we love it!! a must for left overs.

I've had this product for 3 weeks. It arrived on time and was in perfect shape. I've used it for baking biscuits,making popcorn and misc. reheating jobs. It works great and I like the quality of the oven. Only con is no timer available to use for timing other jobs.
