Gas Freeeeeee, 11/13/2007

This bike is absolutely amazing! I've started riding it to work and besides feeling great about not using gasoline, I'm getting lots of exercise and time to spend outdoors enjoying this beautiful weather. If I just feel like taking it easy, I kick in the battery power and away I go.

Nice for the price, 11/04/2007

This bike is very heavy (75 lbs). You need that motor on hills! On flat ground with lots of help pedaling I could go 14 miles before the battery got very low. It will take me about 7 miles with little to no pedaling, not bad at all! It will do 15mph no problem. Plenty fast for a bicycle. I weight about 200 lbs so your mileage will vary. If you get another battery pack (I havent had any luck finding one online, might have to find a dealer) it will carry 2 and you can switch between the two for longer commutes. I didn't buy it for commuting though, just fun. I'm pretty sure I'll get 300 bucks of fun out of it. It is built on a cheap mountain bike but for the price it's great. If you have the cash the alluminum one might be worth it to you. The motor gets kinda loud after some use, it is probably just the grease moving away from the drive gears but it doesn't seam to be a problem. Well worth the 300 bucks if you ask me!

Good Product at the Price, 10/27/2007

This bike is a great deal if you want an electric assist for hills or commuter. We live in a neighborhood with long hills and we use the motor to "help" get up the hill (it won't push up much of a hill unless you are peddling, but it it is a big help). We got 2 of them.

Review 6 for 2007 E-Zip Mountain Trailz Electric Bike

The electric bike is great for riding up hills using the battery powered motor then being able to peddle on staight-aways and down hills. We've had no complaints on the power of the bike. The only two negatives are that 1) the center support bar is too high for shorter people and 2) hopefully the price will go down some for future buyers.

e-zip is easy!, 09/21/2007

while the bike weighs more than I had anticipated, it is a great deal of fun and very, very easy to ride. it was well worth the money, since I ride abour 8 miles each way to work and back, and save on gas as well as parking fees. It is also saving me on errands, as I try to coordinate the trips. I have had no problem finding a power source to recharge the battery, as the pack is portable and can be recharged away from the bike itself. I am very pleased with this product, and would recommend it.

Review 8 for 2007 E-Zip Mountain Trailz Electric Bike

Great RV secondary transportation, 09/07/2007
By Dunwoody01, North Georgia
Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

The bike is everything I hoped it would be. It was easy to assemble, and works as advertised. Since I use it in a mountain area of Georgia, I don't get (and wouldn't expect) anywhere near the distance advertised since a lot of my riding is up hill. I still get 8 to 10 miles on a charge, which is remarkable in my opinion using minimal pedaling on the uphill climbs. I have now bought two of them to hang on the back of my RV for those trips to the local market. With optional baskets and bungee cords I can carry most everything I want.
