My husband and I bought this computer desk because we wanted to hide the computer when it is not being used. Our friends purchased this same armoire a couple of years ago and it's still in good shape, so we decided to get it as well. My husband assembled it by himself in about 2 hours. It works great and looks very nice. It has a place for everything: the computer tower, the printer, the modem, cd-roms, bills that need to be paid, printer paper and my notebooks. We don't expect it to last forever, but we know we'll get a few good years out of it. We could've bought a better desk for 6 times more that would last a lifetime, but we didn't want to make such a commitment to a piece of furniture. My friend's armoire looks like new 2 years after purchasing hers, so I knew this was the right choice.
