You can now make perfect toasts and bagels every time with the West Bend Quik Serve Toaster in black. There are six variable settings of this electric toaster help you make the toast crispier to your liking. You can choose to toast the bread on both sides if you wish. You can even toast bagels, thicker breads or waffles as this amazing kitchen device has a wide slot for the same. When the toast is done, it easily slides onto the tray. This removable tray closes for storage and also facilitates cleaning. The cool-touch walls ensure that the toaster does not heat up. These walls are also contoured ad easy to clean. Use the cancel button to stop the toasting process when you like. The cord storage option in this 2 slice toaster keeps you space clutter free.

Toaster has a very slim cool look, and we thought it'd be perfect for our new kitchen. UNFORTUNATELY nothing happens when you plug it in and put the bread in to be toasted. The bread goes through the 'toasting' section, and comes out the bottom as expected but NO toasting occurs. A power light doesn't even come on. No heat or electricity flows through to make 'toasting' possible. So it's a neat looking 'nick nack'/ dust collector if that works for you...but not a functioning toaster. Needless to say we were disappointed, and returned it to the store. We're out the shipping cost...should have listened to the majority of the reviews posted.

I purchased this item, mistakenly thinking that I had gotten a 4 slice toaster. After realizing my mistake, I decided to keep it because it looked so cool. At any rate, I am not very pleased at how the toaster browns unevenly. When I place it on #2 which is light, it gets too dark and is not very warm, but at other times it gets slightly burned. I haven't been able to reach a happy medium. That is why I am giving it the low rating, however, I love the styling of the toaster.

THE WEST BEND QUICK SERVE Toaster looks nice and takes up less space than most toasters.
But I am going to take it back to walmart. After inserting two slices of bread in the toaster
and it is ready to drop the toast. The drop tray grabs one or both pices and you have to
unplug the toaster to remove them. If you are toasting bagels one bagel always catches.

I had always wanted this type of toaster but knew they were very expensive, but when I saw this particular toaster and how good the price was, I knew I had to purchase it, they were out of stock, and I waited like 2 mos. just to buy it when it came in, but it was not as pictured, I wanted to see the bread as it pops down into the tray, but the front door was all black it was all black, had to be cleaning the crumbs off the tray like two times in a row, when I set it on #1, the lowest, the bread started to burn, I had to push button cancel, it did the same thing the second time, it looked so bland on my counter, it was not worth the money, I only had it 3 days and decided to return it, I went into another store and bought a regular toaster in red, also bought a red coffee pot, and a red elcectric can opener. now I am happy, sometimes we wait to get what we always wanted to be let down so quickly.

I was excited about the concept, but I find that anything I put in it hangs up when it "drops" about as any times as it clears. When it hangs up you cannot "turn it over and and dump the item out" as the directions direct.

I needed a toaster that didn't take up a lot of room and would handle different sizes of bread, bagels, etc. This one is perfect!!!! Just wipe the tray when done and your cleanup is over. No more crumbs left behind.

The picture had me believe that you could see the toast actually through the toaster and I thought it was like a slide for toast, that would have been awesome, but its not see through, lol. Have had for less than 2 weeks to use and only used a handful of times and the switch stopped working and even when you hold down the switch it does not get hot, broken! Very cool that the toast does slide out the bottom onto the tray when it is finished toasting, and i really liked the quality of the toast when it was finished.

if you need a toaster, don't buy this piece of junk, can't ajust the thing either white toast or burnt. never comes out where it says it should. i always have to unplug it to get my untoasted or burned bread out with a knife. now if you like cleaning up crumbs well there is no crumb tray and the crumbs are all over the place. big and tall and takes up a lot of room on the counter. got mad and just dumped it in the garbage. now my old toaster i didn't like at all is my old new love.
