I wasn't sure about buying a chair that I had never seen or sat in online but I am really glad I did. It was very easy to assemble and the chair is very comfortable. It looks great in the nursery too.

Looked around on craigslist and the like, and while there were rocker gliders available out there, they were nearly as expensive as getting a new one. Walmart had a great deal and free to-home shipping, which was nice for not having to lug it around in the store, as it is a somewhat heavy item. Assembly was fast and easy, and all of the required tools were included. Assembly involved attaching armrests and back to seat/rocker base, and then snapping seat cushion and armrests in place, then tying into place the back. Ottoman was pretty much ready to go out of the box, other than removing some plastic covering.
Once set up, the still pregnant wife sat in it and said, "this is awesome. It's comfortable enough that I might fall asleep in it.", which is pretty high praise from someone who can no longer get comfortable. We haven't begun to use it for its intended purpose of bi-hourly feedings, but we've already made use of it while folding baby clothes and taking breaks while getting the nursery ready.

I love this glider! I received it as a gift for my baby shower from my mom, it shipped quickly after she had ordered it (24hrs). The materials are of great quality. It was shipped directly to my house, the condition of the recliner was unremarkable considering the fact it was shipped to my house. I love the dark espresso color and the soft cushions on the chair and ottoman. It took my husband and I approx 30mins to assemble. The ottoman already comes assembled. This is a HEAVY glider but well worth it's price! I love it!

I'm almost 6 months pregnant and was able to assemble this without my husband's help (was eager to sit in it). Very easy to assemble! I'm 5'2 and 130 lbs, perfect size for me!!! Glides great, is quiet, and looks better than I expected!

bought because it was the only one i could afford, and i heard it was a necessity, and it is!
The cushions are very uncomfortable and the fabric gets ruined easily
after 6 months it starts making an awful creaking noise when i would glide in it
after 3 months one of the springs under the seat popped out, then another one followed, making it very uncomfortable to sit in. i contacted walmart to make an exchange but its obviously past the 90 days so theres nothing i could do, im stuck with it.
please put your money towards another product that has better quality, you dont want to end up like me.

Definitely can't beat the price. I paid the $.97 shipping, and ordered it on a Thurs and it was delivered 2 days later on a Saturday! I was impressed. Not only does it look nice but it is comfortable too! My husband had no issues putting it together--a 30 minute project. The cushions are a very light color....more of a cream and was exactly what I was looking for. The finish is dark and looks just like the pic. Wish I would've thought of this when I bought a glider for my 1st daughter. Well worth it in my opinion and saving money makes it that much sweeter!

The glider looks great and it glides oh so nice ...but after sitting in this glider many many nights I started feeling like sticks were poking out at me through the material...I thought it was my imagination but I focused on the problem and even the ottoman feels like little pieces of sticks poking up through the material....I will probably need to replace the cushions because I don't think I can put up with this for long!

Just received this chair from Walmart. Easy to put together (I am 7 mos. pregnant and did it by myself) and very comfortable. Most other chairs of this quality and comfort were 2-3x the cost after much research and shopping. Although baby hasn't arrived yet, I'm very happy with this addition to our nursery.

Poorly made and poorly shipped

I read TONS of reviews on pretty much all the gliders out there, but in the end I thought I'd try this one out and see if we got lucky... we didn't. There was a scrape in the wood on the front of the seat and one of the screws couldn't be screwed in because there wasn't any threading for it in the chair. This resulted in us not being able to assemble it and we returned it the next day. We went with another chair that is about $50 more, but I liked the style more and seemed to be constructed better. Honestly, with all the poor reviews... go with something better!!!

I had been looking into gliders for quite a long time, but did not really want to spend too much money. After reading other reviews on the Storkcraft Glider/Ottoman from Walmart.com I decided this was the one for me. You can't beat the price, and it is very comfortable. The seat is a little narrower than a few others I have tried out, but it fits me just fine (I'm 28 weeks and still have plenty of room). It was also super easy to put together. It took my husband about 15 minutes while I got all the cushions ready.

I got it for my mom it's easy to set up in less than 30 minutes. affordable and most of all its just so relaxing to sit on it. It was a great deal. Don't think twice of getting it. Shipping was faster than what I expected . Great product!!

The glider rocker just arrived today. I assembled it in no time (easy as pie).... Absolutely an excellent buy for the money. My son whose a toddler got right on my lap and fell asleep within minutes. I'm expecting a scheduled C-section in about one week and this is a great item to have in the nursery or living room for after baby comes home. I would recommend this to any mom!!!

We bought this because we're expecting our 1st child any day now & I needed a comfortable chair/ottoman because I plan to breastfeed our baby. After doing a lot of research on different chairs & knowing we couldn't spend an arm and a leg, I stumbled onto this find & I'm SO glad I did! Not only is it very reasonably priced, it in no way lacks in quality. The cushions are firm, which for me is comfortable. The rocking is smooth, no creaking whatsoever. Also, it only took my husband about 15-20min to set up! I'm very happy with our purchase & know it's going to be great when our precious bundle is here to nurse and be rocked back to sleep!!

I've been wanting a glider for the longest time. I breastfed my now 2 year old and it was often a strain on my neck and back. Now, being pregnant again I am prepared with my new glider. It came on time. Set-up was extremely easy with most of the pieces being pre-assembled. What an awesome chair for the price. It is very comfortable!!!! I sit in it everyday!!!! Also very comfortable to use a desk chair. I love the color of the cushions. The chair looks more expensive than what it really is. Normally, I don't usually purchase furniture from Walmart because I find it to be very cheap and not worth it but after reading all the reviews I decided to order this chair. I am beyond pleased.....And by the way, I am 200+ lbs and the chair supports my weight very well!!!

I have not completely used this with the baby but I have sat on it for a long time gazing at my baby's nursery and absolutely love it!!!! Very comfy.. I do have to add that I am short 4'11... so it fits perfectly... My husband is 5'10 and he also said he loves the way it feels n it was a great price. Also very easy to put together n very fast shipping!! Great job Walmart!!!
