It's a shame this product isn't readily available in Wal-Mart stores. I bought this trike for my grandson's 3rd birthday and it was a hit with every kid at the party including the older kids. At 50+ pounds and over 3ft tall, this trike has plenty of growing room and he loves it! Especially the spinning out! part!!! I too thought the front tire would be rubberized since it says on the box, "Performance Grip Tread" but it is just hard plastic. I searched for something like this for a month begining with looking for an original big wheel, but could'nt find anything in the stores so read the on-line reviews before you buy....Marx made the original and they've been out of business or some time. Also, this is our 2nd or 3rd Radio Flyer product. I'm into quality and value...and I'd buy another Radio Flyer product for my grandson. Way to go Radio Flyer!!!

I bought this for my 3 year old as a birthday gift. Because I loved my Big Wheel when I was little. He loves it!!! He is riding it all over the house. The only thing is the handle bars are not as long as what is in the picture.

Both the big wheet, and the back two wheels, tires were splitting before use...it was like they were not molded together well...She was able to ride it, but it was loud and a bit shakey, tires need work, not a typical Radioflyer product...abit disappointed..

After lots of research on different big wheel type toys, I decided to go with a reliable name, Radio Flyer, especially when I found it at such a low price on this site. Easy to put together, sturdy and stylin', my 4 year old loved it for his birthday and we see lots of riding in the future!

Had some reservations before making the purchase. Had such fond memories of my Big Wheel, the origial...no more though. The assembly comes together well...about a half hour to put it together. Got it for our 3 year old who is of average height. The pedals are a bit far for his legs to reach even with the seat adjusted all the way up. That being said, the little man loves riding the thing, enjoying it much more than his tricycle. Just gotta make sure he's not going to run over any of the neighbors...or my garden!

I BOUGHT THIS RADIO FLYER FOR MY GRANDDAUGHTER'S 5TH BIRTHDAY. THE PRICE WAS RIGHT AND IT ARRIVED SAFELY AND WHEN PROMISHED. IT TOOK NO TIME AT ALL TO PUT THE FEW PIECES TOGETHER. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY SHE LOVES RIDING IT. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

My twin grandsons love these Big Flyers. They are sturdy and well made, yet light enough to make it easy for Nana to transport them to the park. We added a bell, a personalized license plate and canvas bike bag and they are a big hit. All the older kids want a turn.

Too bad Matel quit making the Big Wheel. I wanted to get one like I had for my Boys. "Radio Flyer" has picked up the slack, that exceeds the original. -Well Made, Better Quality & Better Made than the Orginal. -"Some Adult Assembly Required", not difficult with basic hand tools, everything went together. (It only took an hour's worth of commercials). -It just plain looks cool. All parts were there, "No Problems". Ordered Online, box recieved at my door in 24 hours. Your kids will love this thing as much as I did growing up.

My son loves this big wheel. We got it for him because his previous big wheel was way too small for him. This was one of the few options for a 5 year old sized kid. He has a 2-wheeler bike, but the big wheel is perfect for zipping around in the driveway or cul-de-sac where the bike is really too fast/big. The front wheel isn't as griping as I/he would like as some other people mentioned, but he can really get up some speed anyway. I do recommend a helmet (and my son usually also wears elbow pads) as he is able to flip it over when he skids it side-ways really fast. You wouldn't think it could be tipped over since it sits about 2" off the ground, but he has done it multiple times.

My son is 4 years old and loves this big wheel I'am sure he would have the same reaction to any bigwheel, but this "big flyer" seems to just have a aura of fun, speed, and quality. This was vary easy to put together (20 min.)and the flag was the perfect final touch. The only thing that I would of added is a hand brake on the rear wheel for spinouts, all in all this was a 4.5 out of 5 stars

We bought this to replace a big wheel for my boys, ages 5 and 7. They noted that the turning radius is not as wide as a big wheel, but it is easier to pedal because the wheels are more substantial. We liked the flag to be noticed in the driveway, but it is too heavy for the screws which hold it, so it is broken. Our neighbors has done the same. Other than that, good product.
