I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter to watch dvd's in her room. It is not hooked up to cable and therefore I can only rate it on playing dvds. It works just fine and the picture is good.

So far, so good. The television has gotten so many compliments from those who come to our home and see it in my 4 year old daughter's blue and pink room. It is adorable and the picture on it is really clear. I've only played dvd's on it so far. So, don't know how directv will look on it. My daughter loves it and we do too. It was a wonderful Christmas present choice and I do recommend it to others.

I purchased this t.v. for my 3yr old neice for Christmas. Although, I personally havn't seen it in action, my mother said it has a very clear picture and the sound quality is great. It's also nice because my neice can work the t.v. all by herself!

This TV is in my youngest daughters room. They make it easy for a kid her age to turn it on. That is great because than she doesn't have to bug us. Great TV. No problems yet.

We bought this TV as a Christmas present. It is awful! There is a large purple spot that runs across the screen when the TV is on. This is a poor choice! We plan on returning it. Even though this TV is a great price...it is a waste! From my research, most of the childrens TV's are not very good. We had a lot of luck with my son's SpongeBob TV, but they do not sell it anymore. We took a chance with this one, since Emerson makes it as well. The most difficult part will be taking it away from my 3 year old daughter who loves it! VERY disappointing. Probably better off with a small LCD (not a child's model!).

It's a really cute addition to any girls room as long as you don't want to actually watch it. It only lasted 6 months with very little use. It was in a 3 year old's room but in a cabinet for adults to turn on and change channels.

Got this for our daughter's room, and boy were we presently surprised ! Incredible picture with only amplified rabbit ear type antenna. Crystal clear, no snow , just as good as our other two tv's which are hooked up to Direct TV digital sattelite for their signal! With only the indoor antenna, this tv receives 17 clear digital channels and we are at least 50 miles from any of these channels broadcast towers. We are really impressed, and would highly recommend this set to anyone with a little girl they would like to make really happy with a special gift!

This TV MORE than met mine and my 4 year old daughter's expectations! Her eyes lit up when she got it (a little bit early for her birthday)! The design is perfect for little girls. It has fun little plastic butterflies and flowers attached to the top which my daughter loved and the light pink color matches her room! The picture quality on the TV is great. Very clear picture with excellent color. I also like the fact that it has the parental V-chip! I would recommend this product to anyone who has a little girl who loves to have fun! Excellent product for the price!!
