This Wahl product was a purchase of unsatisfaction. When I received the package, it was no problem. SOMETHING I noticed the Wahl products box showed a DIFFERENT image, "New Precision T-Blade" The image of the clipper was DIFFERENT from the Walmart images. (As seen it is a square blade, I received a T-Blade). I used it, it DID NOT cut through wet hair, i have been giving my friends/neighbors haircuts, this machine was NOT the business. The Cons of this products 27-Piece Complete Haircutting Kit, the mirror is USELESS, my sister uses it for her make-up because it's as small as your fist/palm w/e. Secondly the ear-guide combs are USELESS as well, it's a lazy attachment, including the 2 attachtment combs that are differently angeled. The mini water bottle , I use it to freshen up my breath, it's so small an USLESS. And when it comes to the cape, OH MY GOSH IT WAS LIKE HALF OF A TRASH BAG! Seriously, it's material was like a trash bag. Yes i was mad , i couldn't be Glad ;D Anyways. the cordless trimmer could be used to trim (Duh) body hairs, touch ups not so well. And i hate to buy new batteries. (recharge-able batteries? sure go for it) but, THIS IS THE HORRILE PART!!! The (T-Blade) blade chipped off when it fell on the floor. about 1-2 feet of the floor.(About the height of a cooler) Cheap Blades! A T-Blade on a Clipper? A NO-NO! I WAS NOT SATISFIED BECAUSE OF THAT GOSH DARN BLADE. I WOULD OF BEEN OKAY OF THE BLADE WAS NORMAL AS WALMART SHOWED. BUT 30-Day Money Back Guarantee! I Will like my money back please.
P.S. The 1st week it broke on me. Not Cool!

The Whale clipper is magnificent! It glades smoothly across the head, very little vibration and makes the haircut experience fun for booth Barber and client. It also allows the hair to lay down nicely, it makes every haircut look good. The trimmer is whack, but I didn't need the trimmer any way.

Purchased this as a Christmas present for hubby. We have an old Remington clipper which we used for our toddler but it was a pain to operate. Read the good reviews on this one and decided to give it a try. I trimmed my husband's hair and he trimmed our 1-yr old son's. It was easy to use and wasn't noisy at all as some reviews said. I'm happy with this purchase. What's more, we'll be saving money by not having to go to the barber's.

I cut both my boys hair on the day we received it. It did a great job and their hair had got long. That saved $15 each at the hairdresser so the clipper shave paid for themselves in one day! They feel sturdy and will hopefully last a few years. The only poor quality item was the cape which really isn't worth packing in the box but that's a minor complaint. Overall, happy with my purchase.

This clipper works as well as the one professional barbers use .. I know I am a barber and when I am asked to travel to do haircuts for shows, retirement homes , weddings etc....this is the clipper I take with me the power can cut through the thickest hair even when wet.....The battery trimmer works but I carry a separate Wahl trimmer for outlining......
I have used this clipper for several years , the only reason I had to purchase a new one was on one of my house calls it got played with and dropped although it still worked the casing was shattered....So I didn't think twice about replacing it with the same model because of power, self sharpening blades.....You will love this product ...

The main clippers look and feel great. There are many different guard sizes; something to accommodate most I's suspect. They run relatively quite as well.
As for the trimmers / smaller set - they don't get close enough or trim sharp enough for my liking. But if I forgot my Andis trimmers and HAD to use them I may be able to get by.

My son is 19 and he was looking for a quality clipper & trimmer set. WAHL is said to be great for African American skin so I gave him this for Christmas. He loves it.... especially the trimmer! The clipper seemed to be of durable quality. However, when I opened up the accessory pouch, most of the accessories were warped, bent, and contorted. They are made of a cheap plastic that is easily bent. The teeth of the guides were bent in a way that they could not be used to give an even cut. I did not even waste my time using this product. The "cape" was nothing more than a cheap poncho without the hood. I promptly returned it to the box and to the store for a full refund.

All the reviews are dead on. This is a great product. I only use the large clipper. Haven't needed to use the smaller one. This product is already paying for itself. Great ease of use. All the extras like the mirror come in handy. It even comes with hair cutting tips on how to do a professional fade. AWESOME.
