Geometry Wars Galaxies (Wii)

I got this game because the graphics and idea of the game appealed to me. I found the graphics to be visually stimulating so I was not let down there. It's really cool when you get 2 or more black holes rotating around each other and distorting the grid. As far as game play goes I can't quite figure this game out. As far as I can tell there is no end to each level. You just play until you run out of lives. The game manual doesn't really do a good job of explaining it. I have mixed feelings about recommending this game. It is challenging and engrossing, but there's no sense of accomplishment for completing a level. I like to play it once in a while when I feel like playing an arcade game.

Product was purchased for my 11 year old who loves math and shapes. He likes the game and plays it several times per week.

This is a great game. Very addictive. It reminds me of some 80's style arcade game. Multiplayer is very good too.
