I bought this toy for my daughter after reading that it was a "must have toy". She doesn't even play with it! Save your money and buy your kids more educational toys like blocks or books.

My mother bought my (at the time) 12 month old this toy for Xmas. If she even hears the word Elmo to this day she gets so scared that she hides, cries, and sometimes even shakes! This has never happened with any other toy or anything for that matter. I really thought she would like it because it is a very cute toy. Other than the obvious, my only complaints were that it runs out of batteries very quickly and I wish it had a volume button, maybe that would help her because it is very loud. After trying to reintroduce her every month or so unsuccessfully we gave it to the neighbor's baby and he loves it.

I bought this for a 3 year old boy in Russia. His mother has said he is so excited over it. She is teaching him some of the American words in English and Russian. Wish I had thought to buy it sooner. He does love it.

My three year old recieved Elmo for her Birthday. This TMX tooo funny and my two girls love it. They play with it over and over again. I have to get my seven year old one beause she just adores it. TMX is a good toy for children and adults.

Not recomended. Worst elmo toy yet. My children hate it and get bored quick. Its hard to use for a child and it doesnt work correctly most of the time.

i was impressed with the reviews and i remember this toy when it first came out it looked like lots of fun.i love specialty or unqiue toys and collect them i bought this for my 4 month old grandson and althought he dosen,t even know what it is he,s all smiles just like the reviews say almost every one else who came in contact with elmo were equaly pleased emotiones range from big smiles to histerical laughs most every one who'se had kids has some contac with sesamie street caracters and love them.believe it or not i still enjoy watching them thier comical and hope to veiw them with my new grandson when he's of age one day (also elmos very photogenic with babies great pics)

My 18 month old loves this and carries it everywhere he goes. A couple of clues are hard to do for adults, but overall it makes my toddler very happy. Battery life does not last long, probably because Elmo is being played constantly. Have a few challenges with the song not always playing through even with new batteries. So we may have a little defect in ours. Otherwise we love this.

We purchased this TMX Elmo for our 2 and 1/2 year old son and he didn't like it because it was to hard for him to find where Elmo needed to be tickled. My husband and I even had to play with it for awhile before we could show our son how to use it. You have to get hints off of the Internet and position and tickle it in certain ways to get it to sing the specials songs and dance.

My kids enjoy interacting with the T.M.X Elmo; I find myself sometime partaking with figuring out how to find the spots to tickle Elmo in order to see him fall out and laugh. This is a special edition so you are to figure out how to get Elmo to say and do different things from the original T.M.X Elmo, we accidently figured out one of his new perks. However, because it's for kids I think the manufacturer should have enclosed a cheat sheet.

The Fisher Price T.M.X. Elmo - Special Edition was a big hit. Not only with my grandchild, who received the gift for X-mas, but everyone who saw the toy, adults included, loved to watch and laugh along with Elmo. It is played with everyday and true to form rolls over and stands up when the hand is pressed. This toy did everything that the description stated. It is fun to watch. Good toy, Fisher Price. I would recommend this toy.

I had the original Elmo TMX and it broke in less than a year. So I bought the new one. Right away I had to change the batteries that came with it. They didn't work. After I changed the batteries it worked very well. The only thing is to try to figure out all the clues to find out all of the extra things it does. My daughter loves playing with it and loves finding all the extra special things that it does.
