beautiful crib!

I bought this crib because it is beautiful and includes storage. At first, I got frustrated with the assembly because the parts are not numbered/ lettered and so figuring out which is left and which is right was a real pain. But once it started coming together it was smooth sailing from there. The drawer was a mega pain. The parts were easy to figure out what went where but to put it together is def a two person job (for holding parts in place while another screws.
Other than assrmbly issues, the crib is great! I can't stop looking at it, its so beautiful. The wood is nice and I'm so happy is came with the toddlee rail. I wish the drawer on the bottom had a cover but once my son gets bigger and the mattress goes down; the open space will be filled. For now, I put a bed skirt in and it loks awesome
Overall I am very happy with this crib and would definitely reccomend it to other parents

Love this crib....so far

My wife and I didn't want to spend a whole lot in purchasing a crib. Our options were the Delta Bentley from Target and a couple Ikea cribs. Then my friend told me about the Babyletto collection on Amazon.com and the crib he purchased Babyletto Mercer which is similar to this Baby Mod crib. After googling about Babyletto, I found out about Baby Mod and that it's made by the same company. I was a little hesitant in purchasing a crib from Wal-Mart 'cause 1. you can't see it in person at the store 2. it's Wal-Mart. But we loved the look of our friend's Babyletto Mercer crib but didn't want to spend $400 (now $340 on Amazon) on a crib. So we went ahead and ordered this.
We received the crib pretty quickly but noticed a huge scratch on one of the panels. So we called Baby Mod to get a replacement and without any issues, we received a replacement panel in 9 days. This is our first child so I can't compare the installation with other cribs. But it's suffice to say that if you can follow and build Ikea furniture, you should be fine with this. There is one gray-area regarding the drawers but just went with my instinct and it worked out perfectly.
I read a few comments about issues with mattress fitment. We did not have any issues with that. I measured the area inbetween the two panels and it measures 51-3/8" x 27-13/16". And the mattress we purchased was the Sealy Soybean EverEdge from Babies R' Us which was highly recommended by the Baby Bargains book (now on sale for $99.99). It fits like a glove. No gaps around the mattress. I can see what others say when the bolts holding the mattress spring sticks out a little bit. But that was not an issue for me when placing the mattress. Hope this information helps regarding the mattress fitment complaints. I've added a couple of pix of the crib and the mattress fitment.
Please remember that this crib like all other inexpensive cribs are made from pine wood which is a soft wood and is easily susceptible to scratches and dents.
The only other thing I should mention is that if you are going to use the drawers (which is probably everyone that orders this crib), I would suggest purchasing a crib skirt in order to cover the open top of the drawer from dust and possibly different types of baby fluids :) .
We have no regrets in purchasing this crib and have no hesitation in recommending it as well.

Assembly was easy. Is a sturdy, solid crib. Wish the directions were a bit more thorough with what part is being assembled during each step. But over all, great product for the price.

Great modern crib!

I purchased this crib for my son and I love it! I assembled it almost entirely myself while 8 months prego, hubs just helped with one of the final steps. It went together easily, the directions were straight forward and easy to follow (but then again I am a master at flat packed furniture and cabinets). I did my research and measured out the crib using the dimensions given so I knew what I was getting. I also had no problem fitting a mattress in, yes it is a snug fit but that's how they are supposed to fit.
My main reason for choosing this one was the modern styling, price and extra storage underneath. A couple things to point out though - you will still need a bed skirt of some sort when the mattress is in the higher position otherwise you can see everything in your drawer below. (I simply folded a twin sheet in half and it's worked well until we lower the mattress). The other thing I wish I would have thought about is since the drawer is below, you don't have toe space under the crib when you pick up or lay down your baby. It does make it feel a bit awkward/uncomfortable. I would still likely end up choosing this one again because the storage underneath for extra blankets is so helpful in my nearly closet-less house but if I was buying purely for aesthetics of the white/wood contrast I would go another route.

Beautiful, Easy to Assemble

Item arrived very well packaged, without any damage. I'm used to putting together Ikea furniture, and I would say this is similarly easy to assemble. There were a few points that were not perfectly clear, but it wasn't too difficult to figure out. I put this together by myself, 8 months pregnant, and it took about 2 hours. The hardest part was lining up the bolts for the springs by myself. Note: unless you have very wide hallways, assemble this in the room it will reside in. I had to take one of the sides back off in order to move it into the bedroom. Oops.
The materials are high quality, and I like that this is real wood without harmful chemicals. My crib mattress (Lullaby Lane) fits perfectly. I love the modern streamlined look it has, and the wooden crib drawer is a beautiful and practical touch. Looking forward to using it when my baby arrives!

Review 9 for Baby Mod - ParkLane 3-in-1 Baby Convertible Crib, Amber and White

We LOVED this crib for the first 22 months, but...

- But when we recently changed out the high crib rail for the toddler daybed rail, we found that, for whatever reason, the rail doesn't line up to sit flush atop the drawer like it did with the high rail. It's as if there should be additional holes on the crib itself so that the rail can be screwed in lower, and since they're not there, it's too high and there's an ugly gap where you can see the contents of the drawer.
Otherwise, SO CUTE, especially for the price!

Great Quality for a Reasonable Price

When I started researching cribs for my first baby I really wanted something that was solid wood (no press board or MDF that would off gas formaldehyde) and had a non-toxic finish. My preference was something modern looking and that had some sort of storage. Most of the cribs I was able to find with these features started at $400 and went way up from there. I honestly hadn't even considered looking at Walmart, but figured it couldn't hurt and voila! A beautiful, modern crib with all of the features that I really wanted at an extremely reasonable price. The free shipping was a great perk and the crib arrived very quickly.
My husband and I were able to put it together fairly easily, in about an hour or so. I would recommend having a second set of hands, it made it a lot easier! We are still waiting on our little ones arrival, but we are sure she will sleep easy in this lovely crib.
One word of advice - when the mattress is raised all the way to the top you can see into the storage drawer. We added a simple crib skirt after the fact, but I would certainly recommend that from the get go!

What initially sold me on this crib was that it has 4 height options for the mattress. I am short so I wanted to make sure the crib I got would be convenient and practical for me. The second thing I loved about this crib are the clean lines and the simple design. It's beautiful and the drawer matches our flooring so perfectly you can hardly tell it is there. It makes a great place for storing diapers - at least that is what we are storing in the drawer as of now. The assembly was simple enough - my husband put it together on his own without any major tools. It is sturdy and fits a standard mattress size (which we purchased separately from another store). For the features and design you get with this crib - the price is perfect and I couldn't be happier with our purchase! Now all we need is the baby to arrive so he can sleep in it!

After looking for simple, modern, stylish cribs I was surprised to find this one at Walmart for $600 less than any other I had seen. It arrived in a matter of days at little to no shipping charge ($10) and feels solid and heavy. I have no doubt this will serve our little one well for as long as it fits.
Assembly was easy with exception of the drawer which was a bit trickier but we figured it out and are very happy with this purchase. Highly recommended.

Nice modern crib for a good price. However, I wouldn't say it is perfect. You can see screws once it is built and some of the pieces of wood had some imperfections (minor dents) in places that were very visible. Once built, the crib is very sturdy. Overall, happy with the purchase but you definitely get what you pay for.

The item description does not say this but inside the crib there is a sticker that states: any mattress used in this crib must be at least 27 1/4 inches by 51 5/8 inches with a thickness not exceeding 6 inches.
PS: just assembled so i can't really comment on the product, so far so god!

Great Crib! Solid!

I am in love with this crib! It works great in our nursery! It took me about an hour and a half to put together, by myself. I did struggle on the last part, the instructions for placing the tracks on the drawer were the most confusing and I ended up putting them on backward, but was able to switch it once I figured it out. Very solid feeling crib. Fits our soy foam mattress from perfect! We have to wait a couple of months for our son to arrive, but everyone who sees it loves it!
Pros: Solid, very sturdy
Good sized crib (not to big, or too small)
Great looking modern Crib
Love having the drawer for extra storage vs. wasted space.
Did not take many tools to put together
Cons: Seems to ding white paint easily
Very heavy box to move=heavy crib
Confusing directions

Took about 1 hour with 2 people to put this together. My toddler rail came scratched but I was able to get a replacement piece without any trouble. I love the look of this crib and its very sturdy! Its also fairly low (I'm 5'2) so I don't think I'll have any trouble getting baby in and out!! So happy with the purchase!

I bought this for my tall, rambunctious grandson when he outgrew the small crib we keep at our home for his naps and occasional overnights. He was 2 1/2 (now 3) and I have been so pleased with this bed. My husband and I assembled it easily, with its simple clean lines it looks great in the bedroom where we placed it, it is sturdy and has withstood the baby's jumping and shaking. His parents already have transformed his crib into a toddler bed and he is eager for us to do the same. I have shown him the toddler bed rail but we haven't yet made the change.
It arrived on time, all the parts were in the box, the directions were sufficiently clear for novices and we are very glad to have this solid, good looking bed for him. We bought the two sided mattress -- one side for infants, the other for toddlers -- and have been equally pleased with that as well.
