I wanted a refrigerator for my college dorm room, but wanted one with a separate freezer compartment (especially for storing ice cream!). This one was a bit more expensive, but it looked like it would be of higher quality and would last quite awhile. At first I had troubles figuring out what setting to put on it and ended up freezing my bananas since they were touching the back wall... I like all the nifty compartments and shelves. It works really nice for storing breakfast items, frozen foods, and ice cream.

The Sunpentown 3.2 cu. ft. Compact Refrigerator, Stainless Steel Door is a good looking mini Fridge. The separate door Freezer is excellent. For a mini fridge it is a good value. Pricier than others, but for me the separate freezer door and the stainless look is worth the extra dollars. Plus Walmart delivery was free. The only real negative is the sound. I figured a smaller fridge would be more quiet, not so.

Even better than I had hoped! This fridge actually keeps things cold and it's quiet. Very quiet. One complaint is that the power cord is annoyingly short. Despite the shelves being adjustable, there really isn't room for adjustment so don't expect much there. Overall, I love it & am extremely happy!

I am very happy with this product. The freezer freezes. It's quiet - I don't have to defrost it. There is a light in the refrigerator, it's Energy Star. AND it came double boxed and had styrofoam in the interior box - not a scratch on it - it was perfect. The only reason I gave it a 4 on durability is because I've only had it for 3 weeks. It is exactly what I wanted. I am thrilled.

Bought this for my daughter's dorm room. The seperate freezer was the deciding factor. Prior to moving to her dorm I made sure it worked aok and it does everything promised. The little ice tray was a disappointment but then Walmart does have the good ice trays...Froze water in a glasss in a little over an hour. She (and her room-mate) love it.

My daughter unpacked what she thought was the perfect refrigerator with separate freezer compartment. She was counting on this refrigerator to hold light amounts of food/drink for college meal consumption. Unfortunately, the refrigerator would not hold a quart of milk so we returned the product. She & her roommate eat their breakfast in their room so not being able to hold a decent amount of milk was a bummer. We did find a similar replacement at Home Depot. It looks identical but taller & it was less expensive. It is a Magic Chef 4.0 cu ft vs. the one we returned which was a 3.2 cu ft.

I like the soft drink holder inside the door. It is easy to take out a soft drink from the bottom, and easy to refill from the top.
There are no exposed coils.
With the separate freezer compartment, small door shelves, and bottom drawer, it is basically a small version of a full size refrigerator / freezer combination. The included ice trays are tiny, but you can always buy bigger ones, or just stock the freezer with ice from an ice maker.

This small fridge is exactly what my daughter needed for college. It works perfecty and the freezer compartment is a lot larger than the conventional dorm regrigerators that you can rent. When my daughter graduates, I'll use it to store beer and soda in the garage. Overall, it was a very smart purchase. And, by the way, it comes with the cutest little ice tray you've ever seen!!!

Most compact refrgierators do not offer a real "freezer" component. This is a terrific unit that offers excellent freezer capability and ample freezer and refrigerator space.
