I am a over the road trucker and am pleased that this product works well except the fact that the moment the truck begins rolling, it shuts the power off on my inverter of 1800W capacity to the entire bunk, I've figured out that it's due to vibrations in the cooling systems components, the products works well when the truck is stationary but not when in motion, which defeats the entire purpose of this purchase and now it's being used as a table. :P

Bought this mini freezer for my son for use in his Tractor Trailer Truck. It fit perfectly. Works great and will pay for itself in no time. He will no longer have to pitch spoiled food. He is on the road for weeks at a time and with a refridgerator only, he had a lot of food go bad. This just what he needed. He loaded it with 3 lbs of frozen chicken, 3 lbs of frozen fish, 12 lbs of frozen fruits and vegetables and a package of bacon.

Ive only had this for about a month, but so far it is working as expected, and Im pretty pleased with the performance. It actually freezes items solid at just the "3" setting. (It has a 1-5 setting). It looks good too, and it is just the perfect size from the outside. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I just wish it had more space inside, in other words, I wish the motor did not take a quarter of the space inside the freezer. Overall, I would recommend it!

When we received this product and took it out of the box the back corner of the freezer was dented in. Product needs to be packed better to prevent this. But the quality of the actual product overall is good and would recommend it even though we had a bad experience with shipping.

I live in an apartment & my freezer is always packed. Needed more freezer space that wouldn't take up a lot of counter/floor space. This freezer gives me what I need & it is quiet. Glad I purchased it.

We bought this small freezer to put in our garage because we needed some additional freezer space. We searched all the stores in our area with no luck and finally went on Walmart.com and found quite a selection. We had it shipped to our home for a fee, however the option was there to have it shipped to our local Walmart for free, which is a nice option. It came heavily packaged and in perfect condition. It is quiet and freezes on just the 3 setting. It looks nice too and would be great in a home or dorm. We would highly recommend this freezer from Walmart. (It was also the best value for its size anywhere)

just big enough to freeze the overflow from my refrig. The size, counter top (same as the student refrig) . I've put foods my Son(teenager) goes in and out the refrig freezer for. Using the little freezer for "specialize" foods is a great idea

Using this on my boat. A tight fit to get below, 19.5 inches thru a 19" door. Took door off, a bit of a chore.
But it gets COLD. Measured -4F at the 3.5 setting on the control. It probably helps that the cabin has A/C.
It cools those refrigerator packs to rock hard and freezes ice trays fast. I just swap out the packs daily in a cooler or the icebox in the galley.

I have to say for a unknown brand to me, Sunpentown really made an awesome product. There are 5 dial settings on the freezer. I tested 4 and 1 so far. On 4, it froze 2, .5L water bottles within 2 hours. On 1, 2 new bottles in, and within 6 hours they were frozen. Defiantly going to get a "freeze" in this model. I was hoping it might let me use it a Freezer/Fridge, but it is too cold. It also has a lock on it which is not so secure. It is a Hex key, so any Hex wrench will get it open. Other then that it's great!

We full time RV and this freezer is perfect for this use. The temp. is very accurate. The only down side to this freezer is that the controls are on the outside back of the unit. Makes it hard to adjust the temp.
Other than this it meets all expectations

A decent freezer

This freezer works well and keeps it at a steady temperature. I used a thermometer and adjusted with the dial which is on the back of the freezer and not inside. Reversing the door on this freezer is not easy and hard to realign back up. You also have to make sure it seals all the way around before tightening the screws back up again. And the lock does not line up to lock at the bottom very well. You have to press door in to make it work, and if you reverse door from the way it came shipped, it does not work at all. But I don't need the lock so does not matter to me. And after trying different locations, I put the door back to the way it was shipped (opens on the left), and am not having any problems. Compressor is very quiet but coolant gurgles a lot, so if that bothers you, I would put it in a room away from where you can here it if watching TV or something. It is not loud, but bothered someone in this house, but not me. Rubber feet on bottom do not adjust enough to level in one spot I placed the freezer but works where I have it now. They could have made the bolts a little longer so they would not come out if you adjust them too far. Also one did not line up when reversing door so had to bend the metal around the hole to make it work. So for now, it is working, I can't hear it, and it is there when I need it, and everything inside is just right! (It does get very warm on outside top when you first run it new, but this will mostly go away) If you don't change the door direction, and it is on a level enough surface, you won't have any problems with this freezer. Works well.

The product is well built and a size that I can handle. My only complaint is that the motor takes up more than a third of the space inside the freezer, so the measurements are misleading. I was hoping to fill the space with frozen food, instead I only have 2/3 space available.

Traveling in RV's freezer space is one of your problems. This is small enough to fit in your under storage or the washer/dryer closet. Has great depth for pizza's and other frozen products. I am well pleased and we have awed other RV's with our purchase and what a great price it was.

This freezer looks good with its stainless steel door and it seems to be well-made. I store ice cream in it and it has enough room for four half gallons. The recommended setting is 3, but I have it set an 2.5 and it keeps the ice cream solid. One can hear the liquid moving through the freezing system, but the sound is not excessive. I have only had it for a week, but it does what I wanted it to do and the price was reasonable.
