This firepit was very easy to assemble, in fact my 9 year old son and I put it together in about 30 minutes. We have only used it once since we got it, but it provided a great evening on the patio during the first real cold snap here in the South. We roasted hotdogs anad marshmallows. Fun Fire Pit!!!

The only bad thing I have to say about this pit (no wrong doing with the pit itself ) is we have it in or basement for storage and the paint is coming off, I'm guessing because its very cool down there and not humid at all. Great pit if you clean it out and keep it out weather it will last forever.

I was very pleasantly surprisd with this. Came in a rather large box - but was not heavy. Went together VERY easily (I would reccommend a wrench and a phillips head screwdriver) but I think it would just fine with hand tightening. Took about 15 min to put together (and I am challenged when it comes to putting things together!!) Heavy quality - looks great. No surprises.
Love having the screen come with it. Alot of fire pits do not.

We've only used it twice we really like it so far. Its alot deeper than we expected which was nice. Pretty cool how the stars and moon project on the ground and things around the fire.The foot rail is nice also but the paint is kinda cheap and seems to be burned off in a couple spots but not bad considering we had some blazing fire's going for hours. Can't wait to use it again.

Great Firepit for the Backyard

Once I put the firepit together, I put in some kindling and some wood and in 15 minutes, I had a nice warm fire. I put my feet up on the sides of the firepit and kept my feet warm. In 15 more minutes, I put my grate into position and grilled some great steaks for my family.
I am really pleased with this Firepit purchase from Walmart.

This pit is great. It was much better quality than expected. We received it before Thanksgiving and enjoyed it with our family. I had read many of the reviews and followed what many had said about putting sand in the bottom. So we did that. I wanted to use "enviro logs" so I also purchased a small fireplace rack to keep the logs up a bit higher allowing air to circulate. It worked out perfectly.

this thing is fantastic.it looks awsome at night,very durable,good size,and affordable.if you are having a hard time trying to decide wether to get this one or the bigger one,like i did,and price is not a issue,then i would recommend the bigger one,but for the price,this one is plenty big.i love it,and would buy it again,but if i had the extra money,i would get the bigger one.

We've used the fire pit a few times since we bought it and it's great. You can have a very large fire and the screen cover keeps the sparks from jumping out. The cut-outs on the sides look awesome when the fire's going. The only negative, and it's not that big a deal, is the poker. It screws together (probably for packaging and shipping) rather than being one solid piece and it comes apart with handling. You have to tape it together. Otherwise, we love it!

I settled on this fire pit after shopping around for a couple of months. It's not the absolute cheapest product out there, but you get more for your money. It's solid and sturdy, stable around energetic kids and pets. The cutouts are a fun touch. Works well for marshmallows and hobo packs. Bought it as a gift -- it's a big hit.

This is the perfect fire pit. It is deep enough to handle a few logs at a time. The dome is sturdy and provides excellent coverage for flying, flaming popcorn pieces. I was so thrilled to find another one since my 4 year old one is finally showing some signs of wear. I highly recommend this fire pit for anyone who enjoys relaxing by the fire.
