I purchased this fax machine for personal use. I only send faxes a few times a year. This is the perfect machine for my needs. I am very pleased.and would recommend this fax machine for home use.

it has good features and like all machines it has the good and bad. for the price it's a great product although my last fax machine was actually alot easier to use but again for the price it does it's job.
if you don't fax a ton everyday this is a good fax machine, it's a little slower to fax things and the one downside it has for my use is it has no speaker mode or intercom, you just dail the number and hit start and it doesnt show you the number your dailing.. it does have 4 preset quick press number for speed dailing. it's very small which is good if your looking at saving space.
all in all it's great for those of us that fax a few times a day that run small business's and don't want to spend big bucks. the fax's go through good and they recieve good that's what the machine is supposed to do for less money.

It is simple to use. It serves my purpose. I wantd a cheap machine to get faxes I do not get them often so I did not want to spend a lot. I have a printer for copying and computer printing.
The draw backs are: doesnt print in color; it doesnt allow the answering machine to work so the
ability to have it set up fax and telephone is not good for me.

I had been looking for a fax and found one I liked at a different store. Then I got a e-mail from Walmart.com and there was the same one for a lot cheaper price.

This fax machine is an excellent buy for a home fax. I am using it along with my Comcast modem and a line phone line splitter because I only have one phone line with Comcast. I faxed a document to my brother and he recieved it just fine. I then faxed a document to myself from my iPad and received that document just fine as well. So if you're worried whether this fax machine works with digital voice ... worry no more because it does. It isn't instantaneous, but you will receive a fax and the fax tones are recognized when the fax machine is set to answer FAX/TEL. This means that when the phone rings and it answers, it can determine if a fax is being sent and it will receive that fax without any interaction from the user.
I can't imagine getting a better buy. For only $38 you can't beat this deal. And with digital voice and unlimited calling in the U.S., you no longer have to pay long distance fees to fax.
When I was considering this purchase, using it with digital voice was a big concern and I wondered if it would work, but now that I know that it does, I'm glad I bought it. Now if only I had someone to fax ...
