i have to say this is one of the best shows i have seen come from showtime. not only do the characters grab a hold of you. you will be shocked when the season ends and you will be begging for more.

this is the greatest television show to hit the screen since buffy the vampire slayer. i am a true buffy fan and this i love just as much. it is kinda werid but the awesomest show i have seen in along time. after the first epiosde i was hooked i had to watch more. this dvd is so worth buying. i loved every mintue of dexter's twisted but funny life. again this season is worth every penny you spend. i know i enjoyed it. well thanks for reading hope you like the show as much as i did. bye

Dexter gives CSI lovers a darker alternative. It is an adult conduct product. I would highly recommend this product for fans of CSI or just Mystery fans. The price was reasonable as well.

I accidently stumbled upon this great series thru netflix. After totally getting hooked on the first epidsode I found it on Wallmart.com and bought the whole first season. I would have to say that this is the one of the best series out there right now.

Simply an amazing show! I've NEVER had a TV show
that I was just hooked on but this is the first. I added
Showtime so that I wouldn't have to wait for season
2 to come to DVD. Each episode is even better than
the last and season 2 so far has been even better!
I've personally never been able to get into CSI and
feel that most of today's horror movies are terribly
unimaginative and boring but I simply can't wait for
each new episode of this show!

Dexter is amazing. He's the boy next door who kills the bad people. How can you not like him?
It is not a family show, but rather for older teens and adults.
I have shared it with my mom and a few of my friends who liked it.
It has humor along with the gore and murder so it's not all a horror-fest but rather stuff with a plot. And a little romance thrown in for good measure.
It's CSI to a whole new extreme.

How can someone that says he is so "inhuman" master almost all of the "human" emotions?
I was alittle leery of this series, but it jumped out at us while we were shopping, and we got it, now I am hooked on this very original show, based on very original books.
Its a must have if you enjoy the CSI series, but its a different take on the whole thing!

This is a great TV show. I don't have Showtime but saw previews and really wanted to see it. It's an odd subject matter - sure - but the show is well done and Michael C. Hall is great as Dexter. It's not too graphic so that's not a real problem either. I give it 5 stars.

This show is an awesome spin on an almost repetitive theme. Rather than being an abused psycho-path, Dexter just "is" the way he is. He didn't start having urges to kill because he was hurt by his parents or abandoned, oh no he is just a perfect monster. Which he even describes himself as!!! Dexter's father helps him to channel his 'creative' energies into making the world a better place- one kill at a time. I recommend it for fans of comedy, CSI, horrors, and the crime channel. Great show! I give it a two thumbs up!
