Suncast Extra Large Deck Box, 99 Gallons

The interior dimensions indicated are not accurate, they are smaller than stated. Box snaps together easily. The hole for lock will need to be caulked because it allows water to get inside the box. I'm keeping it only because it's too much of a hassle to return and I'm tired of having my outdoor cushions in my LR.

On the positive side, the deckbox is a good size and fits most of my patio furniture cushions. However, it is flimsy, much less sturdy than other boxes I've purchased. Also, water seaps in at the base. I've tried calking it, but have had limited success keeping out the water.

Snapped together quick. Ours had yellow stains on the exterior that we were not able to remove with a magic eraser but we kept it becacuse it would be too much hassle to return.

We have only had the product for a couple of weeks, so not sure how the plastic supports will hold up long term, but it's a nice sturdy, easy to assemble storage unit and the appearance is very nice (not cheap looking, like some I've seen).

This is a excellent product for storing hide aways in the yard.

Deck box looks great but everytime it rains it leaks! There is a place in the front where you can insert a padlock in case you want to lock the box. Everytime it rains, water gets into this space and leaks into the box. Previously, we had the smaller version of this exact deck box (without the lock option) and never had a problem with leaks for 3 years.

I just love this storage box. It took me 2 minutes to put it together (no tools necessary). Has been outside for a couple of weeks now with lots of rain that has fallen on it and not a drop in it. Beware, it's huge, will definitely serve my purpose and more...Love it.

The Suncase Extra Large Deck Box exceeded our expectations. It's light, water proof, unobtrusive against our similarly colored house, and large enough to accomodate four sets of cushions, charcoal, lighter fluid, gardening tools, plant food, hoses, etc. with room left over for more. We were pleasantly surprised by this item's quality.

Bought the 73 gal, Suncast deck box first and while it was a good product and the price was okay, it was just to small for my needs so I returned it and bought the extra large 99 gal box. This box while a little pricy was just the right size for my well stuffed deck cushions, 4 chairs, seat and back cushions plus 4 throw pillows (filled it to the max). So far it works great. It was easy to assemble, is made of sturdy ABS plastic (you can sit on it and I weigh a little more than the average bear. So far it is very water proof and as a bonus, it looks pretty good on my deck so I guess the 40 dollar difference in price was worth it. It also has a lockable latch and I positioned it up against the deck rail to prevent the wind from catching the top if it is left un-secure. I totally recommend this product to anyone needing an outdoor dry storage container.
