We already had this toy but purchased it for our Great Grandaughter! It is great and entertaining!

I got this for my nephew for his 1st birthday. He loved it! It has more songs than the standard "babyish" music I am sure most parents get tired of hearing. My grandfather even dropped it down a flight of stairs and it still works great. Can be turned on and off to save battery. My nephew is about 2 and a half now and still plays with it from time to time.

We were given this toy as a present for our 9 1/2 month old. While he is drawn to the fact that it makes noises whenever he presses a button, it is a terrible toy. He presses buttons for a while, but no one could tell me that he's learning anything from it--he already knew how to press buttons before he got it. It's overstimulating to our son, and as a parent, it is terribly annoying to listen to. The bear sound is especially awful. Plus that, even if my child did learn how to do what it commanded, it doesn't give appropriate feedback if you do what it says. For example, it will say "Spin to the music!" and if you start spinning it, the music will stop and it will go to another activity. Also it will say, "Where's the lion" and half the time if you hit the lion, it will just ask where another animal is instead of acknowledging that you found the right animal. We're giving this toy to goodwill this week.

It is very eye catching for little ones. My mother has the toy at her house and my son really enjoys playing with it. He's 3 years old now and still has not become bored with it. It's a great toy.
